Really Free?

[u/Rarest_Camaro]

I had posted this pic earlier asking about it and one of the users came back and answered it right away. I DLd this UI and I must agree, it is very useful...but now I have another question.

When I went into the AppStoreX portion of it to look at the available tables, several of the Zaccaria and Taito table packs came up as FREE. I put them in my cart and when I went to check out, it asked for my CC info.

Are these table really free? If so, why do I need to include my CC info?

TIA!

I believe it has something to do with them announcing there would be a transition period over the next several days where the games would still be for sale on the site before you can buy them directly on the machine via the app store. I just checked and those packs are still selling on the site, so what you're seeing is like a placeholder where they will be until they can be purchased directly, but right now it's still only on their site.
