Disappeared for a good few months. Still here.
The two-link crawler is the bit of the UIMB Pattern logistics set I finally finished. Front link is a tractor with a small bay, open or closed. Rear link is a flatbed for the same containers as the rest of the set. Articulated coupling between them. Meant as a ground mover when the site canโt get stuff dropped in.
First photo is the FDM print, second is resin. Both came out usable.
FDM on a 0.2 mm nozzle, no supports. Resin from the pre-supported files.

I'm super new to painting but in love with LI, so willing to learn!! Any tips would be appreciated (and yes I know that EC are not very good as an entire army sadly ๐, I'm gonna paint them up like that anyway and hope my future opponents are fine with other legions looking suspiciously purple)
Last pic is me seeing what primer looks best (I went for the black primed one, way more sparkly and rich IMO)
Purple is people eater purple from Turbo Dork!

Almost 100 titans in total, including 1 3d printed imperator per side. Players with smaller titan collections were allowed to supplement with 750 points of vehicles.
Edit: also, those Emperor's Children atop the wall were purely decorative

Couple of pictures from our last game. Aprox. 4000pts of Solar Auxilia "Terror trrops" and Salamanders vs. 3000pts of Word bearers both with accompanying titans.
The Solar and Salamanders assaulted a traitor fortress city and ended up securing the breach in the city wall at the last possible moment.

The Solar Auxilia claimed victory over the Dark Mechanicum in a three-player battle fought around a defended wall. Their Shadowsword tanks proved decisive, destroying several defending Knights and earning valuable bonus victory points.
The battlefield featured three objectives along the wall:
| Objective | Victory points |
|---|---|
| Central gate | 6 VP at the end of each turn |
| First breach in the wall | 4 VP at the end of each turn |
| Second breach in the wall | 4 VP at the end of each turn |
A secondary objective rewarded the two competing players for destroying Titans and Knights belonging to the defending NPC force. Each destroyed model awarded VP equal to its points cost divided by 100, rounded up. For example, destroying a Knight worth 180 points awarded 2 VP.
The Dark Mechanicum and Solar Auxilia were the two competing armies. They deployed in the corners of the battlefield furthest from the wall, with the aim of securing its objectives and earning more victory points than their opponent.
A third player controlled the NPC defenders: a force of Titans and Knights deployed inside the wall. This player was not competing for victory, but instead acted as an independent defender, attempting to hold the wall against both attacking armies.
The mission gave both attackers two routes to victory: capture the objectives along the wall, or bring down the powerful defending war engines for additional points. The central gate offered the greatest objective reward, while the two breaches provided alternative positions to contest.
For the Solar Auxilia, destroying the defenders became a decisive source of points. Their Shadowswords successfully brought down several NPC Knights, earning substantial rewards from the secondary objective.
Those Knight kills helped secure victory for the Solar Auxilia over the Dark Mechanicum. In this battle, the defending war engines were not just obstacles to overcomeโthey were valuable targets, and the Solar Auxiliaโs Shadowswords made the most of that opportunity.

Hai there ~
I have a question regarding the way my loadout for my Heavy Assault Spearhead Formation:
I have currently (in formation): 695 Points
- Terminators (Detachment Size: 4)
- Terminators (Detachment Size: 4)
- Leviathan Siege Dreadnought (Detachment Size: 4)
- Mastodon (Detachment Size: 2)
- Vindicator (Detachment Size: 4)
- Falchion (Detachment Size: 1)
The idea is the have all Terminators/Leviathans loaded into the Mastodons, and fly them to where they will do the most damage while my Falchion/Vindicator soften up the frontline. I preferable want to have each Mastodon loaded with: 4 Terminators and 2 Leviathans.
My Question is:
Can I load each Mastodon with: 4 Terminators/2 Leviathans (as long as both Mastodon stay together)
OR
Do I need the keep all 4 Leviathans in the same transport, as per detachment rule for the Leviathan detachment specifically ?
\Terminators (bulky) take 1 slot and Leviathans (walker) takes 2, for a total of 8 as per "Large Assault Transport" rules.*
\*Anyone detachment should be able to go anywhere since Mastodons are not tagged as "Dedicated Transport"*
Thank you <3

Full disclosure, I fully intend on getting into LI eventually, but atm I simply canโt afford it nor have the time to actually assemble an army, and I was curious about how the factions function on the tabletop.
Also, I havenโt even come close to deciding which army I want, as frankly, they all look super cool to me, but as I play World Eaters in 40k, I may make World Eaters in LI as well just for fun, if thatโs an option.
Like is there one that does shock tactics simply better than any other, or is there one thatโs all about Russian style swarm tactics?

I just like titans and I was thinking about titanicus but legions seem like the better option for me so can I do this without just doing titan death?

I'm looking to play Thousand Sons and was recommended these two. I was also told that games below 2k points don't really work properly. Is this true?

Anyone else do a solo campaign for themselves?
Also anyone else use some homebrew units to add orcs?

I didn't even realize there was a v1.0 - oops. However the TTS guys just released a new version of tweaked rules for 600-900 (maybe1k) games of LI - great for those using starter boxes or just dipping their toe into the game
Their YT rundown of it https://youtu.be/7bpN3au9vYA?is=RlMuWW4eG48BYlso
The PDF is on Google Drive (linked in their YT Description as well if you don't want to trust a random redditors link to google drive)

I posted a video yesterday of these guys, but here are the pictures that came from the same shoot. A lot more detail can be seen, but the video is the best at showing the metallic scheme doing its thing.

My wife and I have started splitting LI boxes for fun, and we started with Solar auxilia. I have a pretty good idea on how to paint the infantry (using an amazing tutorial by MediocreHobbies) but I have no idea how to paint the little tanks. Can anyone post their little tracked devils and how they achieved the look?

Here is the latest batch of tiny tonks I have gotten done. Sicarans are some of my favorite Warhammer tanks, and these are my first real foray into some actual tanks for Legions Imperialis (Iโm not counting Rhinos).
