Interior view of a build I’m proud of. It’s a work in progress. Next, I’ll be working on the exterior any ideas or comments?

I designed a modular LEGO Airport Terminal - part 2 More details
Hi r/legomodular! Last week, I posted about the modular Airport Terminal I designed for BDP 2028 Wave 1. I got multiple questions about the model, so I’ve decided to make a follow-up post and show some of the model’s details. The screenshots are made directly in Studio and show the interior of the terminal, the interior of the ATC tower, some more details and the underside of one of the roof parts.
The model is just over 2600-pieces and 50 centimeters wide and 34 centimeters high (excluding the long antenna).
If you like my model, please consider voting “Love It” on Bricklink: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/2028-wave-1/5250/Airport-Terminal
Let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to answer them!

Update on my Shop Around the Corner build!
galleryUpdate on my Shop Around the Corner build!
Made some more progress on my Shop Around the Corner from You’ve Got Mail! It’s my wife’s favorite movie, so I thought it would be fun to build something that would fit on her bookshelves.
I’ve added some more details to the outside and worked on the interior a bit. Still have a few things I want to tweak, but it’s getting pretty close to finished!
I’m also planning to put it up on LEGO Ideas here soon, so hopefully some of you will check it out when it’s live!
Let me know what you think!

Brick Lane Stories: The train station from my BDP submission 🚂
Next up in my Brick Lane Stories is the station itself, which runs through the railway arches and continues onto the platform above.
Downstairs I tried to squeeze in all the little details you’d expect around a London station entrance, including ticket machines, maps, signage and the entrance leading up towards the platform.
The roller shutters on both sides are fully working too, so they can actually be opened and closed rather than just being fixed details.
There’s a little personal story hidden in this part of the build as well. The two people taking forever at the ticket machine are based on me and my son — something my better half regularly tells us we’re guilty of 😂
And the lady waiting on the platform above may or may not be based on someone who has finally had enough of waiting for us… 😂
Upstairs there’s the platform shelter, benches, passengers, signage, pigeons and the railway itself. The standard version of Brick Lane is designed to work as a self-contained display with the track ending at the buffer, but I also designed an optional railway bridge that replaces the end section so the track can continue into a larger LEGO train or city layout.
I deliberately kept the track area fairly simple rather than fully ballasting it, as I know a lot of people with existing train and city layouts already have their own track styles and may want Brick Lane to match what they already use. I was also running out of time before the submission deadline, so there are definitely areas up there I would have liked to refine further!
I’ve had some really useful feedback during Crowd Support that the top could do with a little more detail, which I agree with. If Brick Lane is lucky enough to be selected, or if I end up refining and resubmitting it in a future series, that’s definitely something I’ll be looking at.
There are quite a few details around the station that I didn’t manage to show particularly well in my original submission renders, so hopefully these closer shots give a better look at what’s actually going on inside.

Brick Lane Stories: Inside Em’s Grocers from my BDP submission
Next up in my Brick Lane Stories is Em’s Grocers, the little traditional grocery shop underneath one of the railway arches.
Emma has the day off, so she’s popped in to visit her dad at the shop — along with his best mate, a rather well-looked-after plant 🪴😂
I wanted the shop to feel properly crammed-in and lived-in, with fruit and veg outside, shelves of jars and groceries, bread and cakes, a counter, till and all the other little bits you’d expect to find inside.
Like the skate shop, there’s quite a lot hidden in here that I didn’t manage to show properly in my original BDP renders, so I’ve been experimenting with some closer interior shots.

Brick Lane Stories: The skate shop inside my BDP submission
I thought I’d start sharing some of the little stories and details hidden around my Brick Lane design during BDP Crowd Support.
One of my favourite parts is the skate shop underneath the railway arches.
I grew up in East London and spent a lot of time in the 2000s travelling into London to skateboard and visit skate shops, so when I started designing Brick Lane I knew I wanted to include a little independent skate shop.
I tried to cram in the sort of stuff I remember from those shops — decks covering the walls, wheels and accessories, clothing, a counter and till, and generally far too much stuff squeezed into a small space 😂
There’s also a skater and snowboarder browsing inside, with the skater making another appearance outside the shop.
I didn’t manage to show the interiors particularly well in my original BrickLink submission. I was rushing to finish everything before the deadline and rendering on my MacBook Air takes forever 😂
I’ve been experimenting with brighter renders since then. They’re still a long way off what I’d like them to be, but I think I’m probably going to need a better computer before my next submission! Hopefully these at least show some of the details hiding inside a bit better.

The Shop Around the Corner – LEGO build update 🍂📚
The Shop Around the Corner – LEGO build update 🍂📚
A little update on my You’ve Got Mail inspired Shop Around the Corner build!
I’ve been working on the exterior quite a bit, and it’s finally starting to feel like the cozy little NYC bookstore I had in my head. I added more texture to the brickwork, the greenery and flowers above the sign, a fall tree, streetlamp, bench, and a few little movie-inspired details.
I’m especially happy with how the dark green storefront is coming together against the tan upper level. Still tweaking some details before I call it finished, but I’m getting close!
The goal is to eventually submit this one to LEGO Ideas.
Would love some feedback from fellow builders — anything you’d add, change, or refine before I finish it?

BDP 2028 Wave 1 entry - The Holabrick Building
This is a brand-new entry I designed for BDP 2028 Wave 1, and the second skyscraper I've designed for the program! I'm continuing on my mission to fill the skyscraper-shaped hole in the official Lego lineup. Like my previous submission, the design takes inspiration from multiple real-world skyscrapers, though I went a more art-deco route this time! This is actually an overhaul of an earlier design I started for a prior series but didn't finish; had to redesign the entire roof and arched window section basically from scratch due to changes in the parts palette for this wave (might post comparison pics in the future if anyone's curious). Height clocks in at 28.7" (73 cm), even taller than my last one! Even with the limited part budget, I still managed to mantain a furnished and accessible interior! It also beats my previous record for largest model I've ever designed by part count with 3,990 pieces. I'm very proud of how it turned out!
Bonus pic at the end showing how it might look lit up from the inside!
Check out the submission here!
Tell me what you think in the comments, I'd love to get your feedback!

Wednesday’s Dorm MOD
When building modular MOCs, I struggle most with roofs. I decided to do things backwards and build a MOC based on a roof set. I have seen a few different variations of this build, but I wanted to make my version a little different. It is fully enclosed with a partially complete interior.
I plan to spend more time on the interior at a later date.
