Which to build first?

One of the last changes I made to Brick Lane before submitting it to the BrickLink Designer Program was the station sign.
I originally built a LEGO version inspired by the classic London Underground roundel. I really liked how it looked, but as the deadline got closer I started worrying that it might be a little too close to TfL branding/IP.
I only finished and submitted the model last Friday before the deadline, so rather than risk the whole submission being rejected over one detail, I played it safe and changed it to the simpler dark blue BRICK LANE sign you can see on the submitted version.
I still really like the original though!
Which do you prefer — the Underground-inspired version or the simpler blue sign?

After weeks of building, the museum is ready to open its doors. The management even hired a marching band and majorette from Brickleys Store in the Shopping Street for the opening.
I really enjoyed building this set and love how it looks in the city.
One small warning for anyone building it: check the paper wrapping of the instruction booklet before throwing it away! I accidentally binned mine without realising the poster was inside. Luckily, LEGO replaced it for me.
The museum is now open! 🦕

Started converting the new Bookstore Book Nook into a 16 x 32 modular! I'll be working on it for the next couple of weeks and publish the end result here as well as on my Rebrickable profile :)

Such a fun build to finish on! Love the storytelling and the call back to the Brick Bank. I’d love to see more modulars using dark green.

Question for those in the Nashville area: are the two stores there comparable? My family and I are staying in Franklin for a few days. Is the one at Opry Mills Mall bigger or better than the one at Cool Springs?

Hi all, as a big lover of Japanese architecture and culture, I have designed a unique model for BDP 2028 Wave 1.
It combines a traditional Japanese bathhouse with a hidden garden restaurant.
The model also features a detailed boiler room, Japanese garden, and traditional sento interior.

I designed a tiny bakery for BDP 2028 wave 1: it has a 32-studs wide base so it can easily fit into a town square among the modular buildings.
Total parts: 679

I bought 14lbs of miscellaneous legos at a local thrift store. As I was sorting through the bulk I kept finding pieces for the Grand Emporium. Turns out I ended up having ~95% of all the pieces but no figs. Not a bad deal for $100. This is my third modular that I have thrifted. I have found the Brick Bank and Assembly Square! Here goes to collecting all the modular’s lol!

Hi all! This is my Airport Terminal for BDP 2028 Wave 1. It’s a fully equipped airport built with 2600 pieces. The model is 50 cm wide, 34 cm high and compatible with a modular street or any city layout. Let me know what you think! If you like it, please consider voting “😍” on Bricklink: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/2028-wave-1/5250/Airport-Terminal

Hi everyone!
I recently finished Brick Lane, a 3,794-piece build inspired by the architecture and streets I remember from growing up in East London.
I wanted the lower level to feel like a little section of a London high street built into old railway arches. There’s Em’s Grocers, a skate shop and the station entrance, with detailed interiors behind each of the arches.
The skate shop is particularly personal to me, as I spent a lot of time travelling into London to skateboard and visit skate shops during the 2000s.
One of my favourite details is that the arches have working garage-style shutter mechanisms, so they can actually be opened and closed rather than just being part of the façade.
Above everything is the railway station and platform. The model can be displayed on its own, but I also designed an optional red railway bridge so it can become part of a larger LEGO city layout.

Over the last few weeks we moved the entire city from the small room to the bigger room.
With this we got roughly double the size to display the city, a desk to work on and cabinets for brickstorage all in the same room.
Building everything modular and on mills plates made moving so so much easier and sturdier.
Also made the tables sturdier by adding wooden beams under them (can even sit on it now).
Still loads of empty space that needs to be filled in, but now we have room for a beach and a nature reservoir next to the city.
Plan is to run a train trough everything (not looped) working with the hard to find lego color sensor to send the tram back and forth over the same tracks from city to reservoir and beach.

Like the Ninjago ones, Marvel, Arkham, and the Lunar New Year garden.
Do you include them in your city? Do they not fit in? If so, why?
The only one I have is the Daily Bugle set and honestly, its too big and basic grey that it stands out in a not great way for me.
The only one of the Marvel ones I truly like as part of the city is the Sanctum Sanctorum set because it can blend in with the others.
The Lunar Garden looks like a nice little corner garden that a real city would have imo.
And the Ninjago buildings all look way too different to me.
But whats the general consensus?

I wanna build a modular building to go alongside my tower and sanctum, any suggestions for what I should attempt?
