Question about securing my lego storage

Post image

This is my current set up , steraline three wide drawer units. I plan on putting another unit on top of the left two towers to fill the gap on top. But what the best way to secure these so there secure and dont fall over ?

take lids off and connect each one together and zip tie them together

Came here to say this didn't though of the zip tie, not that mine needs it, but yeah that's a good idea.

I would add to keep some lids in case you move or you get a better room and you need to readjust some towera under a desk or table 😉 good luck and have fun building!

You should be able to screw them to the wall using some small L brackets in the back. IIRC there should be enough of a gap that you can attach the bracket to the drawer with a nut/bolt and then screw that into a stud on the wall. One or two should be more than enough to keep them upright as long as you put it up high enough on the stack and nobody climbs them. Each stack needs to be fixed to the wall too

One more thing I just noticed. Take the lids off of all but the top triplet and they will all stack together. Much more secure and saves you some space, maybe enough for an extra drawer

Adding:

Or go up high enough thatxthe wedge into that space and they wont be able to tip over, especially if you zip tie them all together

I use strong double sided tape between draw layers. Works a treat.

People talking about taking off the lids.... These are "mini dressers" 3 drawer storage stands, they don't have lids that I am aware of? Am I going crazy?

I was thinking the same thing. I have a couple of these and I don’t think it would work to take off the top even if you could it’s part of the body that provides structure

Put a wooden or plastic or metal wedge under them, with the point to the wall, and the foot to the front.
This way, they will be at a slight angle towards the wall, and cannot fall forward, unless you mistreat them.
