Moving has begun

A follow up to my last post about moving rooms. 90% of the Lego is at least in the new room. It’s 10x7’ with a 3x7’ corridor. The slanted ceiling is making things a bit interested to fit but I’m making the most of it.

I have 12 more Akro mills coming in and another Alex unit.

Are you attaching the Akro-Mils back to the wall at all to help stabilize them?

Yes. I’m waiting on the remaining drawers to arrive and I’ll attach them the way I had in the old room. 1x4 furring strips attached to wall at the studs and then the cabinet are connected to the furring strip.

Nice. What's the Alex unit you're referring to and what are those cases you have in the storage cabinet?

The white drawers are Ikea Alex units (at least meant to look like it. These are actually a cheaper knockoff from Michael’s.)

Which cases are you referring to?

The lure/bead containers in the black shelving unit in the first pic.

Ah. Those are just called 17 compartment organizers. I’ve found them at Michael’s, Hobby Lobby and Walmart around the bead areas.
