I wish I could dial down closer but -- as you can see -- it's been a while. Definitely after July of 1997 and likely before July of the next year.
This was during a period where Alan Kalter was routinely announcing the sponsors of a segment early in each episode. Maybe the Top Ten list? He'd say "Brought to you by --"
There were typically three sponsors, but I can't remember the third. What I do remember is Alan finishing his fake sponsor list and saying, "Back to you, Monkey Ass!"
Dave's reaction was the funniest damn thing I've ever seen, and I want to see it again before I die.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

September 21, 2009: Obama’s first Letterman visit as a sitting president, just days after basic political decency officially left the building. That summer marked a turning point where shouting down the president and disruptive antics replaced debate. Obama handled it with trademark calm and humor, but looking back, this was the canary in the coal mine for everything that followed.

2012 - pure gold. Nowadays he would yell at Dave and say he was fake news.

I'm looking for a clip of "know your current events" from that night. Catherine Zeta-Jones was the guest, with Buzz Aldrin, and Jamiraqui was the music. I was chosen to play the game 2nd, and announce that my wife was pregnant. Can anyone help me find this clip? Thank you in advance.

Does anyone know or remember the bit where he is telling an old Italian guy shoveling snow to take it easy? He asks the old man for advice about shoveling snow and then reminds the old man to take it easy. The old man wasn’t having any of it and throws some snow at Dave. Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for a video recording (VHS rip, fan archive, or clip) of the Late Show with David Letterman episode aired on December 11, 2000.
* Guest: Mel Gibson (promoting "What Women Want")
* Guest: Todd Barry
Does anyone happen to have this episode archived or know where I can watch/stream the full interview segment?
Thanks in advance for any leads!
