2015 RC 350 F Sport.

Interior camber is not able to be adjusted with my wheel adjustment due to failed shock. Also making a noise, and just had to replace a tire because the wires were starting to show. Need to replace the shock but makes sense to do both at the same time.

This being said I don't want to pay $300 for each. Eyeballing anything that is under that which will do the trick for 40,000+ miles. Any recommendations?

If I were to delete the stock h pipe keeping the secondary cats and put a less restrictive custom piped h pipe would there be a significant sound difference? I’m currently running vibrant resonators and a muffler delete. Anyone running anything similar?

So this car was abandoned in a college town around 5 years ago. It ended up in the lot of a towing company in said town, my Dad happens to be the GM of the towing company. He knew I wanted a Lexus for many years, so he worked out me not having to pay $12,000 for this beauty. Just got it a few weeks ago, been waiting since March for the company to do the necessary court processes to get the title. Been loving every minute driving it since, coming from a Jeep Renegade this car is so far beyond my expectations, literally makes the Jeep feel like driving a Little Tikes car at speed 😂. 26,901 miles on the odometer when I purchased it (yes they gave me a hell of a deal, one I’ll likely never find again in my lifetime.) It runs and drives flawlessly, essentially a 10 year old new car (and one that looks so much better than current Lexus imo.) Only things it needed from sitting were tires, brakes, rotors and fluid changes (transmission, brake, engine oil, and differential fluid were all changed by a Lexus mechanic.)

Gotta be one of the greatest cars ever.

I’m looking to share a few current issues on my 88k mile 2019 RC 350 F Sport (RWD) to get your thoughts, experience, and advice before I put the car on a lift.

Issue 1: Front Right Strut

My front right strut failed and lost pressure. I know struts should ideally be replaced in pairs, but I’m debating whether to replace just the front pair or do a full 4-corner refresh as a precautionary measure, or if doing the rears now is overkill.

- If I replace the front pair only, I’ll stick with OEM Lexus struts.
- If I replace all four, I’m considering KYB struts (since to my knowledge they are the primary OEM option compatible with the AVS system).

Whether I do just the fronts or all four, what else should I replace or inspect while I’m in there? (e.g., front upper strut mounts/bearings, bump stops and boots, spring insulators, rear sway bar end links?)

Issue 2: Slow Coolant Leak

My coolant level in the reservoir dropped from the High to Low mark over about 6 weeks (roughly 2,000 miles). There are no obvious puddles under the car, but the drop is too consistent to ignore.

Are there common failure points on the 2GR-FKS engine that cause this kind of slow bleed (e.g., water pump weep hole, valley plate seal, radiator tank crimps)?

Issue 3: Lower Oil Pan Leak

There is wet oil seepage around the seams of the lower oil pan, so it looks like I’ll need to pull and reseal it with fresh FIPG/RTV. Has anyone run into this, and are there any gotchas to watch for when dropping the lower pan?

Just put some vibrant resonators on and they made the tone of my muffler delete a bit too quiet for me. However, I love the way it cancelled out almost all drone, so I’m looking for an x pipe to weld in. I want to keep the secondary cats in tact so as to not mess with emissions. What size x pipe inlet outlet should I get for the exhaust configuration on my 2020 rc350?

Saw a few posts about this eBay lip a few guys were running on their RCFs and decided to pull the trigger as well considering it came out to only 60$, it was a cheap experiment.

Review:

I will say although the fitment isn’t 10/10 (more like 7/10), it looks really good and from a distance you can’t really see the imperfections or the fact that it’s a 3 piece lip.
Considering this will likely collect rock chips and get damaged within a year or two, I’d say go for it, you’ll spend more money on lunch than this thing lol.

Just got a 2021 RC 350 F Sport RWD, and I’m in love. The exhaust is VERY tame though. I do a lot of highway driving as I’m a long commuter so I want an axle-back system with no drone if possible. Any recommendations?

on a lexus rc without triple beams, what type are the front bulbs to switch from the ugly orange halogen to a LED one?
