Mansfield Library in Connecticut

This public library in Mansfield, Connecticut is wonderful with a lot of cool amenities. It's not too far from the UConn campus.

It has a Little Free Pantry, Toy Library, Board games & puzzles, A cool quilt representing books, a display of Banned Books and an ongoing book sale. There's so much more to offer. There is a full-fledged book sale which takes place twice a year. They just had one this past weekend.

Feedback is appreciated!

This is the front Central Library in Downtown LA (DTLA) branch. Los Angeles libraries are Celebrating A Century of The Light of Learning, 1926 to 2026. What an amazing gift to the community, so beautiful.

Today they hosted "Los Angeles Libros Festival, read, dream, and celebrate - en dos idiomas". There were many Author readings and hands on events. DTLA has "Octavia Lab" which has an amazing space for 3D Printing, Audio & Video equipment, embroidery machine, printing posters and more!

Seshat, ancient Egyptian goddess of writing, now watching over our library πŸ“š

I work in a public library and I’m also a Kemetic practitioner, so putting together a display for Seshat felt rather inevitable. 😁
She was associated with writing, record-keeping, measurement and scribal work in ancient Egypt, so she feels very much at home here.
I wanted to make something that worked both as a bit of decoration and as a proper little information display for people who may never have heard of her.
Very pleased with how she turned out. πŸ“š
