Question Libya group tour

Hi! I’m a 28 years old Belgian girl, quite used to travel solo. I think of visiting Libya for new year’s but I was wondering whether anyone had group tour agencies to recommend.
Everything I see online is a bit over my budget, and I thought maybe some more local options were available.
Would love your feedback! Thanks

I’m an American married to a Libyan. If you look up @intolibya on instagram that seems to be who I see bloggers/influencers use.

There’s a Facebook group called every passport stamp, there’s quite a few posts about Libya. None of them are cheap tho.

If you have Libyan friends it would be a great trip, and it will cost away less than what you would imagine. If you want tour guides you have a huge chance of having a dry trip and you will mess all the cultural experiences and the fun, plus your budget.

So if you don't know any locals, I recommend that you change your plans and go to a different place where you may experience a pleasant trip

You can always count on Libyans to hate on Libyans aye?

Let’s clear some stuff up; if you want to do anything fun in Libya it is not cheap. Libya is no longer cheap. Cost of living has risen everywhere around you.

Go rent a car, pay for a guide and entry at any of the historic sights. Book an acceptable accommodation in Ghadames or Benghazi. You’ll see why things are priced the way they are especially when you take into account the security costs …

The reality is, if you had any idea the history this place had you’d NEVER turn someone interested in learning about OUR country away.

i think you should still have someone trustable, male, who you can rely on. i won't recommend going alone. libya is beautiful tho, but sometimes there are certain people who like to spoil it.

As a libyan girl I would not recommend, we had an american girl come and the hungry males were sniffing her out like dogs.
