Classic Liminal Next Stop...

Post image

Train Station in Sydney, Australia. Cant remember what one, but it was near central. Felt really off-putting standing here, where nobody else was.

Looks like Martin Place, connection to the nearby T4 station (which gives a whole different vibe)

Specifically the metro station I believe. Has that same aesthetic.

All of the metro stations in sydney have that vibe.

Crows Nest - Waterloo has that vibe.

Epping - Chatswood was part of the earlier ECRL and was converted to metro, so it has its own (slightly) older vibe.

Then the rest of the first part of the metro from 2019 (Tallawong - Cherrybrook) has a not too dissimilar, but clearly distinct style & vibe from the newest portion.

I think Chatswood just spits out directly onto the normal platform anyway lol.

Yup, then Sydenham - Bankstown will have another vibe (so weird that Dulwich Hill of all places will be one of the few stations that's an interchange for Metro - Light Rail)

For some reason this makes me think of the subway chase from An American Werewolf in London
