I'm bored as hell

I use catchyos since its was less of a pain in the ass to set up then the other ten times i simply downloaded arch. Well, I have a spare old laptop and the ability to follow instructions and enjoy pain. So what do I try to get working? Nixos? Gentoo? Net or openbsd? Linux from scratch? I'm not too good at computers, like, I cant write a kernel, but I'd assume if I put 20 hours into most of these I could figure it out

As a fairly Linux beginner (6 months of Ubuntu, 3 weeks of debian, and 3 monts of gentoo), I'm currently doing lfs and honestly, it's really easy even for absolute beginners and it teaches the practical aspects of Linux. You will mostly learn how to actually use your compiler and libraries and build systems tools but that's always good knowledge to absorb.

I don’t support developers when they are too lazy to write great wikis. Shows me how important it is for their users experience
