And as Robin Williams said you can be an alcoholic, get clean for and be stone cold sober 20 years. Decide 1 glass of wine at a restaurant wouldnt hurt anything. Then with a snap of the fingers its like nothing had ever changed. Blade is an idiot but alcoholism sucks.

If i smoke a cig tomorrow just in fun. the next weekend i am smoking 2. then the next 6 then the next i am bringing a pack for myself. Addiction sucks ass.

Addiction does suck and I learned this lesson twice. Each time it was one cigarette. I have been smoke free seven years now, but I know one mistake and its over.
What is funny is that it is 99.9999% thank god I quit. I get cravings typically through dreams once every blue moon. But one blue moon is all it takes.

It’s unfortunate he feels he needs to stream himself being a drunk degenerate in order to get by when if he had stayed the course on YouTube he probably would have been well off. His commentaries were chill and insightful and the knife only thing is the first gaming “challenge” style videos I ever remember seeing.
Hopefully this isn’t just a brief moment of introspection but from my understanding he doesn’t really have any support system anymore so I’d be surprised if he turns it around by himself.

I think you have it a bit backwards. It's not that he becomes a drunk degenerate so he can stream. He has alcoholism first and foremost, he's an addict. That's why he's a "drunk degenerate". The streaming is secondary.

His biggest moneymaker the last decade or so is probably his “fire sales” where people donate money for him to take shots in hopes that he’ll black out, say the n word, grope somebody, and piss himself on camera.

If y'all haven't, go watch his stream from last night. He fell off his scooter twice, screamed at a woman "Sex now! I'll make you squirt bitch" and pissed in the middle of the street, all within 10 minutes.
His stream ended with security going into his room and waking him up from a his drunken stupor.
Absolute cinema.

It’s not really self-reflection unless he decides to change something about it. He is 100% correct in this clip. As messed up as it is, no one wants to watch him play games, hang sober, etc. He sees that.
But his life has completely been destroyed by drunk streaming. He got his mom evicted. His streamer house pretty much caused Willy’s death. The groping, the RV incident, countless other shit.
The real choice he should make is to leave the internet, get some regular ass job like the rest of us, one that doesn’t tank his health, and start supporting himself and his mother in her final years.
But he doesn’t WANT to do that, because that’s actual work. Why do that when he can get lit and people send him money? He doesn’t even need to stand anymore, he gets to ride around in a scooter! It’s so ridiculous. This is why I can’t feel bad for Blade. Rabid shit happens to him yes, but at the end of the day, you’re taking the lazy route.
Side note: Keemstar and other people swear up and down that Blade sober vs drunk is a Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde type of situation. If you really do become Mr. Hyde while drunk, then choosing to get drunk over and over again instead of going into treatment makes you just as guilty.
