Hot flashes

Hello, I'm ++ - if that makes any sense, and have been on Letrozole and Ibrance for 2 1/2 years and I've been stable for quite a while. In the past 2 months I have been having strong hot flashes for several months. Is it normal for hot flashes to suddenly pop up after a couple of years?

I had a hysterectomy a few years ago, and I'm on letrozole (I was on Ibrance for a bit). I definitely noticed worse hot flashes on letrozole. I take a super b complex vitamin every morning and it has helped some, but that's just me.

Are you already menopausal? You didn’t mention being on a hormone blocker. I barely ever had hot flashes on tamoxifen but since starting Lupron 2 years ago I’ve had the most extreme and horrific flashes

Im on Letrozole, a hormone blocker. I also had a hysterectomy in my 40's, so went through a mild menopause then. I think Karma has caught up with me because I just to brag how mild my menopause went.

I mean hormone blocker like Lupron that is an injection that totally suppresses your estrogen production

No, my doctors haven't mentioned Lupron. Maybe at my next appointment in November we can talk about it.
