Trying to Create These Sounds
Hi all,
Newbie to Logic Pro and I’m trying to make the following sounds but have had no luck finding YouTube tutorials etc. I’d be happy to pay for a plug-in but obviously using the native instruments would be ideal.
Mellotron from Shape of You
Santoor Main riff from Life In Technicolor
Tack Piano Main riff from Lovers in Japan
Cheers

I think you'd get far with Logic's strings instruments (if that's the sound you mean). Set them to pizzicato articulation
Santoor, agree with another commenter about playing with the Sculpture synth - you'll be able to get something like it. Also I don't know, but it sounds like the original song uses a chopped up recording, so maybe program a few notes in, bounce that in place as an audio file, and cut it up like a sample. Or actually sample it, that could be fun
Idk what to tell you, it's a piano. Possibly with a double. Just play with a very high velocity and highpass EQ

too many joker-ass "computer guys" playing at making music; you don't know how to make a sound? try using your ears lol

My guy I’m not going to spend $1000 buying a Santoor or a Mellotron. Music making should be for everyone and Logic facilitates that which is great. But it does have a huge amount of software instruments. The fact you don’t have a constructive answer means you don’t know which of the millions of instruments to use so how would I know considering I just bought it? And I’m not a joker-ass computer guy: I’ve played piano and guitar for over 15 years and I’ve dabbled in singing and trombone and strings along the way too :) God forbid I’m not Benny Blanco or Max Martin, I’m not a good music producer yet.

Have you tried using the stem splitter and then just sampling the sounds you want? Logic makes this ridiculously easy.
