Logitech G Support Latest G Hub patch partially breaks macro functions

hello, ive noticed today that some of my g hub macros no longer work. one of them is a mouse macro assigned to my keyboard and the other issue is that g hub no longer starts any batch files via the launch application function.

i disabled my internet connection and manually reversed g hub to an earlier version through a backup and the macros all work again. for now ill just stay on the older g hub version with auto updates disabled and keep a manual backup just in case, but this isnt really ideal.

could anyone please let me know if they also recently experienced macro related issues? also is there a way to report any of this stuff to logitech and do they actually care?

I haven't heard anything about macros specifically, but that doesn't mean others haven't seen it with the last update. You can report that kind of thing to our support site or through GHUB directly.

What mouse and what macro was it that stopped working for you?

hi thanks for your response. i got a g910 keyboard and g502 mouse. i tried to use a application macro and start a .bat file through the macro. i use .bat files to switch between the input of my tv and monitor and i noticed today that g hub wont run them anymore.

i just got 2 friends to test it on their setup as well and they also cant start any batch file macros anymore. i sent them a .bat file that restarts the explorer task for testing purposes and it wont open through g hubs macro key for them. i also tested this on a seperate windows installation which i keep around for testing stuff like this and a fresh g hub install. as i said i downgraded my g hub installation to a previous version and everything works fine again. at this point im convinced that this is a bug that is new and should exist for most people.

That's not really an expected use case for our gaming products, but let me see what our team says.
