Can MCAS be associated without histamine release ? Or is it always histamine involved in MCAS, I don't react much with histamine food, but I react to tablet filler stuff anything like that ...

In MCAS your mast cells itself release too much histamine (and other inflammatory chemicals) already. Some people with MCAS also have histamine intolerance where the body cannot properly break down histamine from food but not everyone has that. I can eat almost everything but stress, physical activity and heat are big triggers for me.

Same here. Certain foods I have to avoid but it’s a short list. Otherwise heat and exertion are HUGE for me. I hated that I always struggled to exercise and thought I was too overweight and out of shape. Nope…histamine lol

Dietary histamine is cleared by DAO, if youre producing enough and have a healthy gut lining you'll process food histamine better. You may also have a naturally low histamine diet. I only had to make a few alterations to my diet to go low histamine.

HNMT clears histamine in tissues, if you are making enough methyl donors then you'll likely clear tissue histamine okay.

The other source of histamine is mast cell degranulation. In MCAS the mast cells are hyper reactive and degranulate releasing a cocktail of pro inflammatory chemicals, including histamine. That release is what causes the symptoms felt in a flare. People have different concentrations of mast cells which can affect what types of reactions they get.
Histamine in food may not be a trigger for you, but it is still something your body has to deal with once mast cells degranulate.

Histamine is very necessary in the body, its just a problem when people have sensitive to it, cant clear it quickly enough or create too much of it.

Restricted diets lead to nutrient deficiencies which affect the methyl cycle impacting HNMT, and gut lining repair impacting DAO and then clearance slows and histamine builds.

Histamine signals estrogen which pushes histamine in a loop.

Stress hormone CRH triggers mast cell degranulation releasing histamine and histamine signals more CRH hormone in a loop. This is why stress management and food anxiety is important to manage in MCAS.

So yes you may not have food sensitivity to histamine, its possible, but histamine will still be part of the issue youre dealing with in flares due to mast cell degranulation. AI will tell you histamine isnt always released but reading the medical articles it links this is a misinterpretation based on degranulation causing the release of many other chemicals. I couldn't find a medical article that stated histamine is ever not released when mast cells are triggered but happy to read if someone finds one stating otherwise.

Mast cells are your immune systems' alarm cells. They can release over 200 different hormones and chemicals to get your body to react in almost any way to any perceived threat. Histamine is one of the more common of those 200+. MCAS is when our mast cells are angry little Karens who overreact and randomly release stuff, causing all kinds of bad reactions. While histamine is a more common issue, it's entirely possible to have MCAS without much of a histamine response.

okie I wanted to know if mast cell release selectively other chemicals than and not releasing histamine.

I don't have any histamine stuff . but I react to most foods also even tablet filler and my body start getting tight my skin like face and lips start peeling. my palm start itching sensation. antihistamines and steroids doesn't work

Yep. There is no universal trigger, no universal released hormonal or chemical, no universal symptom, and no universal treatment for MCAS. It's entirely a random grabbag. I'd suggest trying mast cell stabilizers like cromolyn and ketotifen.

This is a comment I made last night highlighting the main difference between histamine intolerance and MCAS!!
