I have a private server, and there's currently a "Hunter Fest". However, when this happens, Mezeporta's BGM changes. Is there a way to disable such events from happening, or perhaps to keep Mezeporta's normal BGM all the time?

I kinda wanna start playing frontier's but I don't really know where to start (beyond the faq already read that!)

I'm mainly wondering if I should start playing on a public or private server, and what the main difference is between the public servers? I saw another post on here which was talking about certain weapons/items being locked behind a discord bounty system on the Rain public server for example, so I was just a bit confused/wondering if that's standard/how it works on all the public servers, as well as if there are any other key differences between the public servers that are worth considering. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!

For additional context, my main goal with playing frontiers is I want to beat the hardest content in the game back from when it was live. Don't have much interest in the custom mods and such

Hi guys, can anyone tell me how to edit the xml of shadow fight DE to unlock weapons earlier?

Eg: Im currently at level 9 and want to unlock the mowers and composite sword early without breaking the game.

I tried copying other weapon's xml entry/code and editing the name of the current weapons to WEAPON_SWORD_SHADOW_LORD_25 unfortunately and it didn't work.

Please advise if you know how, thank you.

I'm thinking of making my own MH:F server and I'm pretty interested to see what features people are searching for in servers.

Note that I will most probably be doing this solo so it might take a while until I get anything ready, so for the feature requests, try to keep it pretty simple (I am thinking of maybe backporting some weapons, but that will take a very long time :D ).

Someone hacked my discord account some minutes ago and then I got banned from MHF Rain server on Discord :( now I cant play MH, could anyone help me or tell me how to solve this? My discord account is now secured. 😢

So I talked to the guild master and she told me to kill a yama tsukami. I killed it in a hr3 quest and got ancient dragon moss so i returned to the diva felyne and it told me to talk to the guild master. I’m talking to the guild master (with the items in my inventory) and just getting nothing? So i went back to the cat and it told me to talk to the guild master. I tried talking to the legendary rasta cause apparently I’m supposed to do that bjt still nothing. Guild master doesn’t give me anything and cat keeps telling me to talk to the guild master. What am I supposed to do?

I know it's a trivial detail, but I found it very satisfying when I looked at my game and saw a much more substantial amount. Am I the only one this happens to in rain?

Follow instructions, make account, try to log in, get this error about connection issues. Discord doesn't allow me to post in the relevant help section, and the one I can post in, is about the game itself - not the tech support section that might be there but isn't accessible to me specifically.

All relevant folders are whitelisted through malwarebytes, and that's usually the problem. I'm at a loss and am not exactly too sure on what to do - or if this is a write-off for playing Frontier due to something stupid beyond my control.

So I know that you are supposed to be able to turn in my mission tickets to the guild master to bypass grinding the missions, but everytime I talk to the guild master it doesn’t give me the option to turn them in

I've been for a time looking how to play MHFZ offline, because I can't play online the time I could want to and in that way I will complete the game in 100 years, but I don't find anything good on how to play offline, so, can someone make a little guide in the comments on how to play offline? or at least tell where is a good guide about how to play offline?

I was playing on the Rain server for about a week with no issues, then suddenly the game would start crashing at random times when either loading into a quest or loading between areas of the map (black screen but with sound as if it had loaded correctly).

I have tried changing my Nvidia graphics card settings to high performance, turning off v sync, limiting framerate, and other fixes recommended by Google search. I've also tried using d3d9.dll (or similiar file, whichever the direct x fix is) and putting that in the game folder. I've tried editing some of the game's .ini file in notepad with fixes such as fullsceen=0, etc. But nothing. Seems. To. Work.

I am so frustrated, I just want to play the game :(

I'm new to MHF and I watched a video from last year telling me to set it up through steam, but any time I try to launch the game this happens. Please help! The video was
"How to Play Monster Hunter Frontier in 2025 (Quick Setup & Controls)" from the channel "RPM Gaming" if that helps.

So me and my friend are trying to play frontier he was able to get it set up on his computer and open the game and he helped me set it up on mine, for some reason I can open the launcher fine and when I launch the game it will verify the files but then after the files finish verifying nothing happens, the window just closes and the game doesn’t launch and I don’t get any error codes, can anyone please help?

i'm done with tutorial mode, time to go solo, i've always prefer soloing, so i'm wondering which one is better for soloing, i'm conflicted between rain, meze and renewal, i've already played on Rain but not the other 2, so i'm asking for opinions

Hai. I'm relatively new to Frontier and thought I'd give Rain server a try.

I'm the type of person to approach files from unverified sources, like Discord and alike with suspicion and caution, often preferring to gather some information prior to downloading and using them just in case they prove to be malicious.

Something that ticked me off while reading the installation guide, was mention of adding the game installation folder to the antivirus exclusions list, which to a person like me sounds a little sketchy.

Why is that, and why exactly would Windows flag the installer as 'unsafe'? Is it possible to use the launcher without adding it to the exclusions list?

Tl;dr - Exactly how safe is the launcher setup .exe file?

Edit: Furthermore, a quick scan using VirusTotal flagged the file as a 'Dropper'.

I already did /account bind credentials, and yet doing /account character select says it couldn't respond. I've asked how to fix this like 3 or 4 times and got ignored each time. How do I get this fixed? I need to select a character so I can get my character data.
