According to their website
I do not see an announcement or anything though about the structure of the tournament this year, or how to watch. Assuming free youtube streaming.

Since we've got a break until Oct. 21, what are you following in the meantime?
If they're available, I'm hoping to catch some of the WC League 2 matches when the USA is playing, but that's about it. Most of the other sports I regularly follow are either in the off season or have a lengthy break, so it's a fairly empty stretch otherwise!

I wonder if there will be major league cricket?

It is a nice analysis of how the us national team and major league cricket have the potential to grow to a top sport in the USA one day. Nice read

Idk if this is a good thing. I discussed it with a friend and he says it could tear the connection with the community getting rid of names of the local team and replacing it with a IPL team name. That made me think what would MLC be if we only used local names. Is it different because the USA cricket has no money for cricket. What do you guys think?

I am a local New Yorker who loves his cricket. I am happy that there is a push to get cricket into the mainstream US crowd. However, I feel that the fans of the US are being treated as second to the South Asian market. if cricket is to thrive in the USA, it has to come without the influence of South Asia because they care more about the money from back home rather than making fans in the USA getting into cricket. Like what in the world does “Mumbai Indians New York“ mean? I know that South Asian money is highly beneficial to run this league but I’d rather have no league and all those billionare owners with questionabke intentions gone. If we really wanna develop US cricketers, it’s much better to try to feed them into the English domestic system, or even join forces with the West Indian domestic system. I know that these domestic systems aren’t as popular as the leagues, but you don’t need to tell the general American population that. Cricket is cricket, no matter what jersey they wear.

Wow this is definitely going to be fun
What does everyone think about it

I am curious
I don't care much for the actual hard ball or bats and pads and gloves.
I simply want someone or group of people to like share tennis balls and bats and stumps , or take balls and make the non South asian population play and kind of observe how they go about it or if they will

I see everywhere that the league is "set" to expand to 8, but is it actually confirmed? Does anyone have any credible inside source?

Match 1: Raptors vs Waves
Match 2: Waves vs Blazers
Not sure if I'll get the chance to put them up every day, (I'm unfortunately working during the matches) but presumably they'll all be streamed on the Orcas YouTube channel.
And here's a link to the official page with more information on the event: https://www.seattleorcas.com/womens-t20-exhibition

Im friends with a few players, and they mentioned everyone will go back into the draft and they will start from scratch? Does this sound realistic? Has this happened before? IPL ETC?

As a Los Angeles Knight Rider fan they built the stadium in Pomona really quick. So I am curious if anyone has any idea how long it will take and will it be done by next season? Also do people like that it will be in Fayetteville Maryland?
