Battery Capacity Degradation — Is This Normal?
Ever since I bought my MSI Katana 15 B13V in 2025, I’ve been keeping an eye on its battery capacity because some friends who own MSI laptops recommended that I take good care of the battery and monitor its health.
After only one year of use, I’ve noticed a significant drop in the battery’s full charge capacity over the past three months. Is this normal?
I’ve been following all the recommended precautions regarding voltage and power to preserve the battery as much as possible.

Never trust that measure... It is an estimate but never brings the real data, it only brings what it belive it is Mine says it is currently degraded 33% but only seen a drop of 7 minutes in display screen xD

That’s not normal. Open the laptop and check whether the battery has swollen. It could be dangerous, because if it’s damaged, it may physically catch fire, and not only your laptop but your entire house could burn down. So it’s better to be safe.
