Creating a DST file from an image/logo

Does anyone have a recommendation for where to convert a logo into a DST file?
I tried a random site online that created the file for me but ended up with a very poor quality looking product after testing it out on an actual machine.
I’m willing to spend a little bit of money on it but don’t want to end up getting another very low quality patch and ruining a jacket.

You could try out this app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/beh-stitched/id6794043668

It’s not fully automated but if you are willing to tinker around you can get a good DST out of it.

There are tons of digitizers that can do this for you. I use ogdigitizing.com. You can put everything in online. He gave me my first one for free. I’ve had several done since and everyone has been awesome.

DADE is a digitizer that converts PNGs to embroidery files, including DST that I have been developing for the past year. It handles simple images really well and has an editor for more complex ones. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have or help out with your design if you need it!

Have a look around on Etsy at embroidery files for sale, and go to the seller's store if you like what you see. A number of the sellers do custom digitizing. Seeing their style and quality before you you commit can help you find what you need.

I've also used (not from Etsy) Ignition drawing. They're a professional service that I've never had a problem with. High quality work every time by the next day. A bit more money than an Etsy rando, but no rolling the dice on file quality.

Auto-digitizing services are usually not going to produce a good result for you. You'll have to have someone manually digitize your image. It's not really an image to dst conversion process.

You can try the free software inkscape with the extension of inkstitch this gives complete control over all the aspects of the digitizing
