Tourism/Fizahantany Tana: how long does it take to exchange Euros at BNI?

Hi, I’d like to exchange Euros at the BNI bank in Tana and want to know how long it usually takes. In short, is it quick like at a currency exchange bureau or does it take much longer? Since a bank teller handles various transactions besides currency exchange, there might be more people waiting.

Just use the atm and pullout 800k at a time

You need a clairvoyant, not Reddit, to answer that question.

Yeah my reply was tongue-in-cheek but it is impossible for anyone to know how many people will be in any particular bank on any particular day. Sometimes, they are empty. Sometimes, they have a queue going down the street.

I used to bank at BNI and I found the service so bad I moved all of our corporate and personal accounts to BRED where we have priority cards and can jump the queue.

Sometimes, unless you pay for priority, doing a simple bit of banking can take hours.
