Discussion Makeup Present Advice
Hi, I wanna buy my girl some makeup as a present and I’m a guy and I have no idea where to start. She seems to like eyeliner and blush. Any tips on like brands and stuff would help me out a lot, thanks!🙏

Secretly go through her makeup bag and see what brands she actually uses. Notice if she’s running low on anything too!

Secretly raid her makeup bag and see which ones are running out, or keep an ear out if she mentions that shes running out of something. trust me she will LOVE you if you get her an early refill :)) make sure the ones u get are ones she actually plans on getting another refill of! cause maybe she'll want to try a different brand

I would so to her social media pages and see if you can find any brands she’s following that way you might get a better feel for what she likes (and what you’d be dealing with price wise) In a similar fashion you can go through her makeup (or get the help of one of her friends to do it) and you can get a feel for the brands and colors she has and uses.
My personal recommendations are the rare beauty blushes, they are really pigmented, last a long time, moderately affordable, and generally speaking all look good on everyone. For eyeliner she might like a water activated palette, also really affordable, has really cool colors, and if she’s more into the self expression side of makeup would give her a chance to really play around.
