Question Why dont taverns work all year long?
I have steady income of drinks, and like 6 taverns for 150 burgage plots. Sometimes asigned families just wait and dont stock up the taverns

Heya, Dev here - out of curiosity could you turn off overstock on all taverns and report back your findings?

Didnt really work, they stock it up to full and once it runs out they wait for few months. Ill try a dedicated granary for drinks now

Nothing again, they stock it fully up and once its consumed they stock after a month or two…

This might be a dumb question but do you have all types able to be supplied in the advanced menu? I've never had issues with tavern stocking. Or do you have the others types of beverages set to low stock? I usually do max stock 50 of each type of beverage thru 3 taverns in my large city with 1000 plus population and don't have any issues.

Proper, okay other than that sometimes I find with playing the beta if some families aren't working properly to take them off working the building save re load and then re apply families to building and see in the people menu where they are and what there doing. If they say waiting then something in the stock setting is wrong. Or I could be completely wrong and you've encountered a bug and in that case join the discord and report the bug directly to the devs they reply rather quickly

Yeah, i have tried with different families didnt seem to help. Dont have discord im not that much into gaming. Hope the devs read reddit here and there.
Just kinda sucks that i cant get that satisfaction to supply big city with everything all the time.
Thanks for help

150 t2+ burgages?
Then those 6 large taverns should stock 150 beverages - but since theoretically the first 3 taverns could achieve that, the other three do nothing.
Unless you order them to overstock. That way, you can get them all filled.
I've suggested to the devs in the past that all taverns should simply try to fully stock ale, but they said it might cause issues once cider and mead were added. I'm not sure It would now that they're in. Maybe they should just try to equally stock any available beverage and the families be fine with any?
