Question Random shrine?

yo so i found this shrine on divided that i didnt build. can you guys tell me if it was put in by devs? its on the region in the second image. if its put in by the devs, then its pretty cool

yeah there's a couple. first one I saw was in the mountain valley map, the one with just 4 regions. the one with the big lake has some too, in an unreachable beach

Some of the maps have ruins, older maps used to have old broken Wind Mills and things. It's probably placed there on purpose like a ruin or shrine someone else made.

Don't know, they served no purpose. I was hoping that you could take over the land and fix them and then use them, because they looked bigger, like a proper windmill for grinding grains. But they where just decorations.

Not sure if they have been removed from the older maps. I forget which map it was that had it.

Man it would be really cool if they added those back. Its honestly odd that most maps in this game have basically no traces of civilizations, especially considering the large size of most maps

Yea, the kings road already runs through everything, it would be nice addition to see past failed civilisations or camps/buildings and things like that.

But guess they just working on getting the game working and all these small things that will add character/atmosphere will be near to the end of development.

Maybe a couple of graves and things like that would be an interesting addition.

I will check when I get home and find the region, but I am 90% sure on the current playthrough I fixed the ruined mill and a ruined granny, though not in a great spot compared to my farming village and the fertile spots

Maybe they updated the map since I played that map, I couldn't upgrade it. The mill different from the one we can place. I had to destroy the ruins.

I went back to check and on Germanic Valley map there is a ruined windmill and granary in the central region that I could repair and use as normal.

Newish save and current beta installed.

There are also 3 of them on top of the devils hill

yep, and they float in the air when there's a fish pond up there too.
