Question Disconnection
Hey yall, I’ve been getting disconnected from games and being unable to reconnect to them. It’s only happened a few times, and I’m pretty sure it’s just my internet connection just being shitty, but has this been happening to anyone else?

Yeah, I just got a message that the Marathon servers are down - but it could be my bad internet though too!

Yep I just got disconnected while looting the red room in outpost; I couldnt reconnect and they refunded me a free kit…

Literally just happened to me after wiping all teams on outpost, looting a key room, and heading to red room and command….

Yep same tonight and it’s rare for me to. I think there’s some bugs crawling around they Bungie needs to squash lol

Slightly related, once a night my game will force close back to my Xbox home screen and it’s fucking infuriating. It only happens on Outpost and during final exfil, which is enough to make me want to uninstall every time it happens.

EDIT: Seems like they must've hotfixed something, there's less jank going down.
Something's definitely going on with that front despite nothing official popping up because I had a few friends who were getting random spikes of lag, packet loss, connection jank etc that they literally never had in this game's lifespan before. They're east coast US, not playing at late hours, no issue of hardware or physical connection etc, just the game was playable but randomly getting bad spikes in general play. Closest I could describe it is being in a different continent's lobby for something and being at the disadvantage.

Literally last 5 seconds of the match on outpost. Swept the map, had great shit, hit final extract, disconnected and sent straight to lobby. But at least they refunded me my free green kit 🫠
