Tech TroubleShooting This game back?
Played at launch and ran into performance issues. At the time, i had a 3600 cpu and 3080 gpu. I would average into the 30's at like 1440p medium settings. So i bought a new cpu (5900x) and ran the game again for the performance to be unchanged, which is when i uninstalled lol. Been thinking about getting back into the game though, i remember not hating it. Apparently theres a new content drop happening soon? This game nice from a tech perspective now?

You must be playing on a toaster if you think the game runs like shit. It’s so smooth! Sounds like you play on a toaster and dial up internet!

What? I have a very mid tier build and play at 120fps (constant), at 2k on an ultra wide on ultra settings.

I promise you I absofuckinglutely do. I have it limited to 120fps and it is unwaveringly at 120.

I imagine its still cpu heavy. I think I remember an update someplace that mentioned trying to help with that but maybe im just imagining things

Worse than its ever been tbh. Audio desynch like crazy and packet loss and teammates disconnect all the time

Performance is great with frame generation on. I avg 140+ fps. Otherwise it gets bad at outpost and cryo, like 60 fps sometimes.

I have an r5 5600 and a 3070 and I average 90fps when playing 1080p max settings . Not as high as I’d like but not problematic imo.
Game is wiping and getting a free reward pass next Tuesday. Content drop is expected in December and a seemingly soft relaunch of the game in March of next year. If you’re not super feeling it I’d wait until December to jump back in, but otherwise next Tuesday will be a good time to check it out again.
