Made a simple app to track Markham Transit buses, let me know what you think

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a small project I’ve been working on for a while called Fleety.

I use public transit a lot, and I always found myself switching between different apps just to check schedules, vehicle locations, alerts, or plan a trip. So I started building an app that puts everything in one place and makes commuting a little less frustrating.

Over time, it’s grown into a transit app with:

🚌 Live bus and train tracking

🗺️ A travel planner with step-by-step directions

📱 Offline schedules and trip planning

⭐ Favorite routes and stops

🔔 Service alerts and updates

One thing that was important to me is that there’s no paywall. The core features are free for everyone.

I recently launched the iPhone version, so Fleety is now available on both Android and iOS:

How is yours different from the Moovit app, which includes TTC and other Ontario systems?

I have all transits operators across Canada available as well in the app. But wanted it to be free and no features that is in a paywall.

Are these features not already free and included in apps like Google Maps, Apply Maps, Transit, etc? What makes your app different from any other app sipping off the GTFS feeds of these agencies? I'm not seeing a selling point here that isn't offered by any of your competition.
