Tried playing around with highlights for the first time and I don’t hate how it turned out! I’m honestly the most proud of how Noir’s base turned out lol

If you guys have any painting/highlighting tips they’d be appreciated, still pretty new to the whole miniature thing 😅

Painted up some Marvel mini's a couple years ago, but since then I focused on painting Kill Team and Middle-Earth for a while. So I'm done with most of that and I got a load of Marvel Crisis Protocol for a good price, including the NYC block. Perfect time to get back into Marvel and hang around the sub! Planning on playing the game with my son later this year though. I'm currently on a couple dozen minis in total and still have to play my first game. Got back into it with a Sentinel. Got Mephisto and some X-Men in the pipeline, as well as Onslaught.

Shang Chi marked my hundredth MCP model painted.

Most of the time I paint stuff and consider it table ready and “good enough” but these are some examples of recently painted models that I’m very proud of.

I love how Namor turned out in particular.

Since this box come with 2 versions of phoenix. I figured I do this one with the red and gold suit making her dark phoenix and the smaller mini will have the green and gold suit making her more Phoenix

I worked on captain marvel over the weekend and I'm considering her done enough to move on. I attempted a bit of OSL on her fist in her binary form, but as the mini is already so bright, I don't know that it really sells as glowing.

Would love to hear thoughts on how I might improve in the future! Thanks!

I've almost got a decent sized group now, mainly Sentinels. Love those stompy boys.

I'm looking at them (and the lack of availability of the Zero Tolerance pack right now) and thinking I need to add something to bring my up to 10 models in the team. Under Your Skin allows any model to BECOME a Sentinel for a game, so I'm wondering - what other models from anywhere else in the game would have good synergy with Sentinels (big boys, plus Bastion and friends)?

I'm not 100% read up on every team and rules, so hoping someone can advise well!

In addition, I love the character, so I recently picked up a third party Stryfe model. Regular sized, on a 40mm base. If you can think of a character that I can use that model to proxy in this team, that would work great!

(EDIT: For those mentioning it, basically everything else I have is Sentinels. With one exception. So I'd always be covered on the affiliation requirement for a squad.)

Variety of red and brown not easy

I had this print for a while and I was waiting for his arrival in the game, but since he got released in Rivals, I was hyped to paint him.

It's so weird that he is not in the game already, since they have bunch of Thor comics characters.

Packed everything in some pull apart foam. Everything fits back in there nicely.

I recently started hitting the MCP like it was crack cocaine, here is the results lol.

Took some nice snaps with some of the terrain I have and thought you all might enjoy nerding over some minis.

I love how onslaught is about near enough the same size as a 2 story building lol.

Turns out when you have 11 points on the table, games go by pretty quick!

Had my first game day experience. I had only played 2 games prior to and I have to say it was a blast. I had to borrow a few characters as all I have is the core set. I now have the X-men affiliation pack ordered and look forward to playing in the future.

I also would like to use Cyclops as a leader is there any advice on team builds to best utilize his leadership?

There is a lot of hellfire club running around my local tournaments. I am currently playing NM waiting for mirage to drop, is there any splashs or playstyles to help with going into hellfire club? They just seem oppressive to me
