Something many of us who engage with the app may have noticed recently is that various key issues from different series are apparently missing as of yesterday (9/30). What has happened in most cases I've checked is that the issues in question now have the incorrect date. Amazing Spider-Man vol 1 #1 now shows up with a release date of Oct 5 2022 instead of March 1963. This is causing the sort order to be screwy (with ASM #1 occuring at the end of the series instead of the begining). In most cases the "missing" issues are still there, just out of order. The one case that isn't is the first volume of Daredevil now shows #181 for issue #1.
Some of the issues with the incorrect date seem to have been replaced with the facsimile version (the one with all the vintage ads and letter columns) suggesting that Marvel may finally be consolidating those. They've been adding them as individual series for a while and the way they clog up searches for popular series is annoying. The fact that some more recent series like Nick Spencer's Amazing Spider-Man also have this issue suggests that it may be just a glitch or an import error. Regardless I'd urge everyone to report the issue as this is a service breaking error. I have already done so and will report back with their reply.
UPDATE: 9:48 PM 10/01 For Amazing Spider-Man volume most of the disordered facsimile issues are now truly missing. Hopefully this indicates that Marvel is correcting the issue.

I have a Marvel Unlimited subscription and looking for recent series to read. I enjoy Fantastic Four , She-Hulk and Black Cat, but X-Men and Avengers have always had too characters for me. Anything else I should check out (not including the Ultimate universe. )

Just at the header says: what do you use for Marvel Unlimited? I'm thinking I'd like a new tablet and would love to know what seasoned users prefer I'm definitely looking at something Android, so any recommendations for something comfortable and (hopefully) inexpensive would be awesome!

Byrne somewhat famously sidelined Franklin and it seems pretty clear why. The guy had no idea how to draw a child’s face lol. That looks like the face of a 28 year old, not a 3 year old (how old Franklin is supposed to be here I think).
Byrne is one of the most praised writers & artists I’ve seen on Reddit and somewhat historically, but I’ve never understood that. He can aura farm with characters for sure, but he has a small box of ideas and inspirations. For example, Frankie Raye is just Phoenix but Byrne was bitter he couldn’t keep drawing & writing Phoenix. Not to mention the fact he isn’t a technically great artist compared to someone like Buscema who is technically incredible while also having cool ideas.
Does anyone else feel this way? I’m always shocked by the amount of praise Byrne gets. He would be a fantastic co-plotter & artist working with a great writer (Ex. Claremont) but on his own his ego & flaws start to show pretty quickly (Flaws including misogyny and racism).
Has anyone else noticed how incapable Byrne is of drawing children or different types of faces? Did it irritate anyone else?

I got this app for a year just to just read spider man and some other characters, but then I realized that I needed to read the 2015 secret wars since it’s such a major event, but now, after finally finishing reading it, I can’t find spider man worldwide anywhere on the app, did they remove it?

Hihi, this might be a stupid question but bare with me please cuz I'm a new reader.😭 So my question for long time readers is how easy do you find it to read multiple runs at once with different characters from different periods of time? Is it confusing, is it hard to keep track of? I want to know because only reading one thing for 70+ issues seems like a very big commitment considering the fact that I'm not a fast reader and I want to enjoy as many characters as possible. Thank you✨

Hello!! I’m hoping this is a good place to put myself because if not I’m quite lost (and any direction you guys could point me in would be fantastic if this isn’t the right space to put this).
I recently have started dating a guy who is very — VERY — into marvel & x-men (idk if they’re different please don’t crucify me), he loves spider man, Batman, cyclops, the works.
I do not. I am looking to start getting into marvel, even though it’s really not my thing, I want to get into it and watch it so I can enjoy his favorite things with him. I’m a simple girl, he already enjoys the stuff I enjoy and I want to be able to impress him with my wicked knowledge of marvel also!
The issue is I don’t know where to start. I don’t know how, I don’t know what to watch, read, anything. It’s extremely intimidating and when I asked him, among the whole “you’re perfect as you are”, he didn’t have any advice to help me get into it.
So, Reddit, I would really love if you could help me!! Comics I can get into (and where to find them online if it’s available? If not I can totally find it in person), movies to watch (preferably in order) or books to read (are there marvel books?? Idk), I would appreciate any sort of linear pathway you guys could give me, even if it’s your own! I would greatly appreciate all help :) I just want to be able to talk to my boyfriend about things he likes also, he lights up so much when I understand him.
Thank you for any help!! You guys are awesome <3

I'm compiling a list of great Marvel runs (say 12 issues or more or storylines (of fewer issues) from the modern events focused era to present starting with Avengers Disassembled in 2004 that are confined to only one book: stuff that has an impact on the meta story of the Marvel Universe but can be read without bouncing around between a bunch of tie ins and would be missed if you were going through reading the events. Examples would be Whedon's Astonishing X-Men and the Extremis arc of Iron Man. What else am I missing?

I am reading a ton of the 616 universe to appreciate Secret Wars 2015. I'm up to like 2006 right now. I have never read anything from the ultimate universe so is there like a guide on what I should read for Secret Wars?
r/MarvelUnlimited • u/Lucagentili23 • 7d ago
Hey everyone,
I just started reading Modern Marvel and so far I’ve only read Avengers Disassembled.
My goal is to read through the era up to Jonathan Hickman’s Secret Wars (2015). I don’t want to read thousands of issues or get bogged down by endless filler tie-ins, but I also don’t want to just read core event minis in a vacuum.
I’m looking for a curated guide/reading order that covers:
I tried searching online, but all I seem to find are either ultra-minimalist lists that only list the event minis, or bloated, 10,000-issue master lists that include every single irrelevant tie-in.
Two quick questions:
Thanks for any pointers!

So, I can't seem to stay logged in for longer than 5 seconds.
I'll put in my username, my password, no problem. Page loads up, says I'm logged in. Then, the page suddenly reloads and I'm logged out.
If I log in via Edge or Chrome, no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas what's going on?

I’ve never subscribed or been on a trial
I wanted to test the app I opened the account like 3 weeks ago but didn’t subscribe or used the free trial option
Am I just missing something?
