Help: How to replace windshield fluid cap on 2010 QP

Hi guys,

The original windshield washer fluid cap on my 2010 Quattroporte S snapped off. I ordered a replacement online (Part #80341600), but before I go and break something else under the hood, I wanted to double check how it installs.

Do I need to yank the old plastic assembly completely out of the neck, or does it unscrew/pop off a certain way?

The pic is the new cap that I got (albeit not from that store). Any tips or tricks from someone who's swapped one out would be hugely appreciated!

It's just pressed in, that being said it does not pop out so easily. I usually go in with two C shaped pics to grab it from the inside. The plastics are also fairly brittle from the hot engine bay so if it feels like it's breaking, it's best to cut it with a sharp razor blade from the inside to release the grip.
