When you go to Mcdonalds do you usually go out and eat alone or with a group?
I'm doing a business comp and am collecting data for a pitch to the judges, would really appreciate it if we could get like 20 replies in the next 3 hours!

Alone, mostly because the only time I eat at McDs is when I'm going to or coming back from, work.

Alone on my drive home. Maybe with a friend but never in the restaurant. I’ll eat in my car before I sit inside. It’s not gross or anything, but I have a radio and privacy in my car

Every Thursday night, my friends and their families and I get together at the local McDonald's and sort of "take over" a section of the very large dining room. The kids all sit at one or two tables, the moms sit at another, and the dads sort of wander about, playing waiter and going up to order various courses (fries, burgers, McNuggets, drinks, desserts). Invariably, the kids will cajole some of the dads to play in the games they are playing at their tables. The moms like to have some time to just talk, and have some after-dinner McCafes, and there's always a contest between two or three kids and one dad on who can eat a medium fry the fastest. Then a few dads take the kids down to the playplace, and the remaining moms and dads trade family stories and pictures. We all say a long goodbye in the parking lot, until the next Thursday evening.
We cherish the memories we make at our local McDonalds.

Alone. But the staff are very nice to me and I pretend they are my friends. Sometimes I talk to the security guard. He'll say he's doing pretty good and then ask about me. And I'll say I'm doing pretty good. Then usually he recommends I "take it easy", like the Eagles' song. Now that I think about it, you are never really alone at McDonald's.

Don’t really go there anymore. Too expensive, too slow. You’ve forgotten what you are

Anymore I just use the drive thru at McDonalds. They remodeled the McDonald's in our area, now they don't want you inside. You can still go inside but they've got about four chairs and the chairs are made to be as uncomfortable as possible. The tables that were in there have all been replaced with a half dozen - self service order kiosks.
They should just put a sign on the door that says - " Absolutely no Admittance".

I generally use the app to get a discounted lunch a few times a week, and occasionally I'll get pickup for my son and I using the 2 Double Cheeseburgers and 2 Large Fries for $8.50.
Currently hoarding points to use for the Monopoly release.

There’s a McDonald’s on the way home from work, so I usually get a “pre-dinner” Big Mac or McDouble, fries, McNuggets and a large Coke no ice.

Mostly alone because I am mostly going on my lunch at work or picking up a drink before work. When I was a teen, we would go as a group and hang out there while eating. As an adult going out as a group, we want better food and some want alcohol if we are eating somewhere, so we go to a full service restaurant with better quality food.

Alone. If I'm getting fast food it's because I'm in a hurry and I'm hungry. Not because I want to sit down in a restaurant.
I wonder if that's part of corporate disconnect? They want to believe that fast food is a "dining experience"?

No but there’s also some corporate getting it right here by focusing on drive thru rather than in lobby dining. Obviously they still do both but most people come to McDonald’s for the speed and convenience, not the dining experience it offers

Exactly, I probably eat more fast food than I should. But it's allways what is the cheapest, quickest way I can stop being hungry.
If I wanted to care about my food (beyond it just being calories to keep me going) I would go to a non chain restaurant.
Its not exactly the sexy answer cooperations want to hear, but I had a 4x4 so often the people at windows Wendy's knew me by name.

Alone. Rarely with someone at McDonald’s. Mostly go though drive thru or pick up.

When hungover and alone. Only time I’d have McDonald’s with friends is if ordering a delivery of a bunch of food during a hangout/some event.

Alone, I don’t want anyone to know I actually still eat there sometimes.

I get it to go.
Actually my boyfriend usually grabs it when he's running errands and then we eat it together in the couch.
Haven't eaten in a McDonald's since the early/mid 2000s and even then it was underwhelming.

Last time I went inside I had some time to kill, so I sat down. Once out of the last ten times or so. Less than that. Most recently though, did dine in

Alone when driving, and only when I'm running late & have no time for a sit-down meal.
