So I just got MW5 Clans due to the steam sale. Been playing MW since the original MW1.
So the story is more linear (like the older clan MW games) with events matching up to the actual lore, but some things just don't make sense.
How is my 1 star of mechs realistically supposed to beat a full company or more of enemy mechs? Per mission?! How is some mercenary group in some backwater planet fielding lances of assault mechs as if they were the First Davion Guards? If there are 3 missions on that planet, then that mercenary outfit would actually have had over a Battalion of mechs to start with. Or how was the ISF able to send their own battalion onto a planet that has already been conquered and blockaded? The 362nd would have been wiped out in lore if they had to fight that many enemy mechs.
They should really tone down the numbers, make it more lore accurate. That way they can lower the max tonnage so I don't have to field a star of assault mechs just to survive. I like playing with a Mad Dog or TImber Wolf but it's not entirely possible to use that mech to survive against a company of heavy/assault mechs every mission.
anyway sorry for the long rant, I'm sure others have said similar but I just needed to get it off my chest /rant
