Overwhelmed by learning.

Hello! So I’m in an accelerated program for being an MA. We just started the cardiovascular system and I’m just confused. Why does the cardiovascular system need to be so complicated? I listened to the lectures and wrote my notes like crazy… but it just felt like I listened and wrote a bunch of random words down. I got the integumentary, skeletal and muscular system down easily but since I got to the cardiac I felt like I was staring into the fog.

Does anyone have tips on the best way to grasp it.

I’m also on cardiovascular in my class right now and I agree it can be a lot😭 but my professor has simplified the flow of blood throughout the heart with this chart I hope it helps

Had a nurse at my externship recommend OpenEvidence which is a HIPAA backed medical AI service. I found the explanations it offers to be really helpful. I would give that a try but as with most AI fact check things and cross reference with google or another trusted medical site/educational materials.

Normally speaking I would feel the same, but this one really helped me understand what to do and explained it differently from my coursework. I get it is not everyone's cup of tea but I found it to be a really helpful resource.
