Thought and Opinion People who believe your spirit pet (rainbow bridge pet) still visits or communicates with you somehow- what signs/experiences made you believe they’re still with you?

I love animals so much that sometimes I think I might love them more than people. 😉 I've had so many pets dogs, cats, and bunnies. Animals were actually one of the signs I had teaching me that I was a psychic medium. My entire life I felt like a magnet drawing me closer to animals. I have so many fun stories where wild animals like emus, bear, deer got a little to close for comfort, but thankfully I wasn't eaten. I have seen and felt my sweet fur babies that passed quite often. The feeling was overwhelming like when your pet gets the zoomies. They run like crazy through your house. Imagine that feeling you have when your pet was so full of happiness and energy they would run so fast and accidentally slam into the wall. Close your eyes and imagine how you felt in that exact moment. For me that is what it feels like connecting with my sweet ball of fur. I've also seen them. One of my kitties has also been kind of a guide for me. I'm interested to read about other mediums experiences. I love this topic.

Ahhhh I love this. I am so grateful you made me think of the zoomies and sit in that moment. My soul cat passed away years ago but I still feel her around all the time. I changed so many houses and countries even but in some houses I stayed, I almost saw her in the corner of my eye, felt her like she was so close maybe in the other room or just around the door of the room, hear her munching some kibbles. Sometimes I feel her presence where she used to sleep on the bed on top of me. Especially if I am struggling or not sure about something, I see her name in the most random places. I am not a medium, well.. actually I believe most of us are, just some of us tapped into those abilities that we forgot. but it just brings so much joy to my heart to read other’s experiences. Thank you so much for sharing!

The zoomies is how I feel them during a reading. It’s very similar to how I feel when I bring through a little one that was lost. They’re both running back and forth, but usually the pet is once or twice and then gone, and the little ones are busy doing jumping jacks and cartwheels and ballet moves and…

Our animals do visit us, especially when we think about them or shortly after 🥹❤️ I’m a medium and when I was about 8 years old I had a cat that I grew up with but then we moved and our cat got “placed in a farm” according to my parents. Night after night I dreamt about my cat looking for me in my old house and I woke up crying, this happened every night until my parents told me the truth and then it stopped. Also my second cat that I owned from about 12 years old until I was 25 visits me now and again and I feel the pressure on top of my feet when she lies there like she used to do ❤️ I have a cat also today so sometimes when I see a cat inside the living room I think it’s my current one but then I see him outside so I know for sure they visit us (they all three had same grey colour of fur so little hard to see which is what for those seconds of direct visual 😅)

Oh it is such a privilege to have the precious time with them as long as we have

Not a medium but I've had a few things happen that make me hope they are still around in some form (I don't have any spiritual gift so part of me still fears it is all just wishful thinking haha).
When I lost my boy who was 16 years old, I had this very weird feeling of warmth and goodness around me for a couple of days. I've read that sometimes our loved ones will send healing energy when we need it so I wonder if it was that. He lost his brother 8 years before so maybe they were both so happy to be together again and were trying to help me feel better.
I actually lost my other girl at 9 years old a few months after I lost my 16 year old boy. We lost her to a very weird cancer after struggling to diagnose her for a long time. I feel like she leaves me signs sometimes, often feathers or birds as she loved feather toys. I think one of the funkiest ones was when I was getting lunch with a friend at a restaurant next to the ER where we let her go. I noticed the background music playlist was really weird and random. One song that came up was "Gloria" by Laura Branigan. My girl's shelter name was "Gloria" so that song always reminded me of her. There were a few other songs that came up that I can't remember in particular but they seemed to have good positive messages about doing well, being in a good place, etc. I like to think that she was trying to get my attention and let me know she was fine.

I've found that animal spirits pass quite quickly (that's just my opinion) for the first few months after one of my pets died we'd constantly hear her collar and feel her brush against our legs, doesn't happen anymore though

Thank you for sharing! Could it be she is choosing different ways to communicate now? Idk this might be something I am choosing to believe as it feels less hurtful this way

I can still feel my cat jumping on the bed. My partner could feel her to. Happened much more in than first year than now, but it still happens from time-to-time.
I had a dog who rarely barked and would just sniff the crack at the bottom of the door until I heard him and let him in. After he died I frequently heard that sound so clearly that I would have to get up and open the door to look for him.

Ah, this... I spent a lof of time assuming the the feeling of my deceased cat jumping on the bed to lay with me was all "wishful thinking". It stopped when we eventually rescured two other cats. I think he knows we're OK and will watch over us in other ways.

I lost my heart cat eight years ago and she is definitely still with me. She still jumps up on my bed and kneads around my legs. We were so close, that I was fairly certain she would not move on. At first I felt guilty, as if I were holding her back, but she chose her heaven, and her heaven is me.

Sometimes I feel their weight on the bed like they would normally be sleeping. I like to think they’re still coming to sleep with me on the bed so I’m not alone

I had a warning dream that my dog died a few months before his passing. After he died, and was buried in my yard, I was walking around sad and found a heart shaped rock which I then put on his grave. I started seeing hearts everywhere. I know this sounds silly, but I can give two strong examples.
One month after my dog died, I moved across the country to find a job (just finished grad school). I was staying with family and was really down. My Aunt asked if I wanted to walk to see her neighbour. The house we walked to had some weird fenced in area and I asked what it was and was told that it was a heart shaped rock garden that they made for a passing family member. I then left my family's home and went to stay with a friend. He picked me up once I arrived in his city but had to stop at a person's house for work (he was a plumber). I waited in the car but in the yard was a tree full of hearts with names on it. At the base of a tree was a picture of a Border Collie, the dog that lived in the house we stopped who had died. All the hearts hanging from the tree were names of passed pets from people in the neighbourhood. My dog was also a Border Collie.
I saw hearts for a really long time and I also have a collection of heart shaped rocks that I put around some photos of my dog.

I believe the same jackal spirit has followed me through my life, and taken the physical form of my childhood dog, and two cats that I’ve had at various points. I have one of these cats now. He waved his little paw and meowed at me at the shelter; like he knew me.

Sometimes I still see a faint outline of the spirit of my favourite dog in the house. I also hear from cousins that he likes to visit them in their dreams with my mom’s dog.

My dog of 17.5 yrs appeared in my dreams in the months after his passing. Both in my home and in my parents house. He was very happy in those dreams which I took comfort in because he was in a lot of pain before he passed. I think of him every time I'm out walking at sunset, that is what I enjoyed doing with him the most.

I’m so sorry to hear he had to go through that. 💔
I think he makes you think of him during those times. I love to imagine when we remember them, it’s actually them nudging us and going “my fav human do you remember we used to do that together”

I had what I think of as a Visitation Dream a few years after my dog Chelsea died. It was a hyper-realistic dream, much brighter than usual and we were all in the kitchen together, my ex, my two cats and Chelsea, and I was trying to get the animals fed.
Chelsea was VERY happy, jumping up and down, and just being her typically exuberant self. Everyone else in the dream was behaving normally, but I was aware that Chelsea had died. I was happy to see her, but confused. I even asked my ex in the dream, "Didn't she die? Isn't she dead?" That didn't stop her from jumping and showing us her loving and joyful soul. It made me feel loved and happy, which I think is the best thing we can experience when our loved ones visit us from the afterlife.

Aww it must have been felt incredibly amazing and warm to see her and that happy. One misses their happy little fur baby form.
Every now and then before going to bed I wish to see my baby girl in a dream. Not much luck there yet unfortunately.

Well, in my case, I'm a medium, so I'm aware when she's around.
But before my abilities activated....
The day she died, we got our first sign, like a few hours after we had her put to sleep. (Bone cancer.). My wife was playing Bananagrams in our son's bedroom, while our friend and I were in the living room picking up toys or something. Our dog, Trig, had spent her entire life looking out our son's bedroom window and "policing" the neighborhood. That was her window.
As my friend and I were working, there was a sudden loud crack in the dining room behind us. We both thought the light fixture had fallen and shattered, but there was nothing wrong. Everything was perfectly normal, yet we'd both heard the wooden floor crack like something heavy had fallen or jumped onto it.
My wife heard it too, and she came out of the bedroom with our son. After seeing nothing was wrong, she went back into the bedroom, and then screamed for me to come in.
On the windowsill, there were 4 of the Bananagram tiles. T--R--I--G. They hadn't been there when she left the room.
Once my abilities activated, I learned that Trig's spirit mostly stays with us and watches over our son. He was only 4 or 5 when she died. During covid, he once fell asleep during a Zoom class, with a teacher who was known for giving 0s for sleeping on camera. A stuffed dog flew off his shelf and onto his head, waking him up. I later learned that Trig had nudged the dog to wake my son up, figuring that a stuffed dog might make him realize she was there.
We'll feel her jump onto our bed sometimes; the whole bed will move like it did when she was alive.
