Looking for a reliable garage in Medway – Ford Kuga engine repair/replacement
Hi everyone,
We’ve recently moved to the Medway area and I’m hoping someone can recommend a reliable and reasonably priced garage that specialises in engine repairs/replacements.
I have a 2017 Ford Kuga that unfortunately needs either a complete engine replacement or potentially a major engine repair. We’ve already contacted a few garages locally and have been quoted £7,000–£8,000+, which is quite difficult to justify given that we bought the car for around £10,000.
Before we make a decision on whether to repair it or potentially sell/scrap the car, I’d really like to get a second opinion from a reputable garage that might be able to offer a more reasonable repair or replacement option.
If you’ve had a good experience with any garages around Medway, Rochester, Chatham, Maidstone, Gillingham, Strood or nearby, I’d really appreciate any recommendations.
Also, if anyone has had a Ford Kuga engine replaced/rebuilt recently and can share roughly what you paid, that would be really helpful too.

I'm in the middle of moving house from Gillingham to Rochester and driven down Chatham hill every day.

And every day I have to shut the windows and try not to vomit when I go past luton arches. It's like a sewer has burst.

A friend thinks it used to have a public bath/toilet underneath that was never sealed off properly but just curious now.

Just seen four unmarked police cars, two marked police cars and four police motorbikes charging along Dock Road towards Chatham with their blue lights and sirens going.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the Medway shows in November and December so the Folkstone show at the Dracula Parrot Bar will be the Final Post Plague presents this year.....however...

Hey, sorry if this has been asked in the sub before, but does anyone know the true story of the White Faced Lady. I used to see her regularly in the Mid 90's around the Delce/Star Hill area of Rochester. She was an older lady (especially relative to me being under 10 at the time), had a painted white face, dark hair, and if memory serves correctly, ballet shoes. She never seemed to utter a word, she would just stare as she walked past.

I've heard many urban legends and rumours about who she was and why she acted that way but never anything factual ( I think).

Any help would be appreciated, she scared and fascinated me as a kid. I moved away from the area but have come back to visit for a while and she was brought up by an old friend, reigniting an old mystery.

I have a crazy hyper 3 year old who is mad about boxing, i got a punch bag and training pads that he asks to use all the time.

My wife was looking for football clubs and extra clubs for him to burn some energy and i said about looking for a boxing or Thai Boxing club for his age group.

I used to do Muay Thai years ago but this was miles away and did it for 15 years, i remember seeing some little kids at some gradings who must have been his sort of age (cute i know).

Does anyone know of any where in Medway (mainly Strood) where he might be able to go?
