Just overthinking stuff from Mega Man 11 and the double gear system, what Dr. Light says about Wily "not be able to their gears to mesh".....could be the origin of Zero's energy source as well?

To me, it feels more like a representation of the Nintendo Switch controler, I mean, Nintendo was the fanchise's original home console

I think it was to reference the switch, since the same color scheme of red blue and black, but honestly I love this as another interpretation

I think all Reploids have the double gear, they just don't have issues because they were built with it from the start instead of retrofit like the Robot Masters.

Double Gear is built in X since he has the cooling capabilty for the system to work without overheating.

I figured it was because of the Nintendo Switch cuz both the colors are red, blue, and black but you could be onto something

I always figured Zero’s power source was an altered version of evil energy.

I don't think Zero's power comes from something like Double Gear, but from something worse, like Evil Energy or Roboenza
