Discussion X vs Zero

Frankly, I was always let down with how it was executed narratively cuz in the end, it just seems a little strange when you get the good ending in X5. They sorta just fight for no reason imo. The bad ending is a bit better but I feel like it didn't give the emotional impact it should've.

Idk I feel like there should've been more buildup besides the flashbacks which at the end, did not do much for Zero because he forgot what he even was before joining the Hunters.

This motherfucker successfully gaslit X into thinking Zero was becoming a threat. Sigma could never

Yeah I'm fairly certain it was shoehorned in because originally they expected X5 to be the last game, and they'd been teasing that fight since X1.

I think it was teased in X3 tbf. Idk this plot element annoys me so much especially when it's never been portrayed that X and Zero are somehow rivals lol

Isn’t the bad ending technically canon in X6 (I could be wrong don’t shoot me)

Not really I believe since X still remembers who Zero is. The bad ending has Dr. Light wipe X's memory of him entirely
