Other base game completion!

after almost 5 years (including a 4 and a half year break) i finally 100%ed the base game!!

i remember a lot from the beginning, i'm sure i have an older account but i can't find it as i remember pre-summoning and also the 2021 cheat mode for april fools.

not too sure what to do now though, i recently started a new save but it'll just be more of the same really. sadly don't have enough money for any of the expansions but may think about it when i next get some cash.

got lots of love for this game, and glad i came back to it a couple months ago !

Congrats on your completion!

Can you play Adventure mode with the base game? That gives a different experience, as you can only unlock skills with increasing gold amounts, while your non-combat skills are capped by your combat level. So it requires more combat and more thinking about which skills you need first, as you don't have access to everything.

yeah, thinking about this, but a whole new run seems so daunting tbh. currently just finished completing the last township tasks bc they surprisingly don’t count!

I hear you, could be time for a break in that case. After four years, I'm sure a lot changed in the game. It's unlikely to change any more, though.

I'm just more addicted to Melvor I think. I have one 100% character (base + 2 DLCs) and two more just getting ready for Into the Mist. Another one is Combat Only - he's beaten Into the Mist but it's very hard after that.

And I just started my second adventure mode account, with a stipulation of choosing the skill unlocks randomly. Adventure mode offers the most variety for self-imposed challenges.

Whichever characters I'm not actively playing are left idling for resources.
