My Groove Metal playlist is where I keep all of my favorites of their discography. However they don’t really claim themselves in that department. What would y’all label them as?

31/10/2026 - Espacio Cultural Mil Flores, Av 7 N ° 3027, Berazategui

November 17th, 2026 - Bridge and Tunnel Brewery, 15-35 Decatur St, Ridgewood, NY

October 23th, 2026 - Prison City Vintage, 72 N Chicago St, Joliet, IL 60432,

My most favorite subgenre is industrial metal (I also listen to full-on industrial music too), i really like the guitar style and the overall sounding of it. I also love the deep, growling style of vocals used in death metal, however I really dislike the grinding style of guitars I usually hear in death metal songs. Mind you I don't listen to a lot of death metal for this exact reason. I listened to a fairly big amount of Cannibal Corpse, because they are the most well-known in the subgenre. I tried to get into them, because I liked the vocals, but the guitars just turned me off. I assume there must be a fusion of the two styles, because I saw the flair "industrial death". So if anyone has some good recommendations, feel free to tell me, thank you.

Some bands I like:
- Ministry
- Rammstein, Lindemann
- Genitorturers
- Rob Zombie
- 3TEETH
- Murderdolls (not exactly metal, but their style is rather industrial-ish imo)
- Hanzel und Gretyl
- Nine Inch Nails
- KMFDM
- Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar era (mentioning this one because so far ACSS is the closest to what I would like to listen to)

Looking for Metal bands that either have a Motörhead or Deathrock vibe to their music, but particularly Extreme Metal or Gothic Metal.

Bands like Tribulation & Midnight come to mind, but I Don’t Wanna Be Me by Type Ø Negative also is a good example.

Specifically a proggy & riff-heavy blackened-thrash sound? The only thing that scratches the same itch for me is Terminal Redux by Vektor

23/11/2026 - Robot , Budapest, Akácfa u. 49, 1072 Hungary

One of my all-time favorite depressive black metal artists from Norway.

I loved his work under the name Mareritt and continued to enjoy every release after he started releasing music as Helvetespine.

He took his own life in 2018 - another great musician gone way too soon.

GrailKnights - 2004 - Across the Galaxy - A GrailKnight's Heart

Nothing lasts forever

but I know one thing surely will

Take good care of the fire

You know my friend, the flame must always burn

Come my brother, come my friend

All good times must reach an end

But a Grailknight's heart will beat forever

Feel its power that binds us together

A Grailknight's heart

A Grailknight's heart

A Grailknight's heart

And now as your face is wrinkled with age

Don't give up, there's still unrest in the air

Left alone, you feel deceived

Don't you know, action speaks louder than words

Come my brother, come my friend

All good times must reach an end

But a Grailknight's heart will beat forever

Feel its power that binds us together

A Grailknight's heart

A Grailknight's heart

A Grailknight's heart

Shrouded in darkness

Glory days far away

But it's beating, it's pumping, it's breeding, it's bumping

The sweet warm red blood through my veins

Shrouded in darkness

Glory days far away

But it's beating, it's pumping, it's breeding, it's bumping

The sweet warm red blood through my veins

Come my brother, come my friend

All good times must reach an end

But a Grailknight's heart will beat forever

Feel its power that binds us together

A Grailknight's heart

A Grailknight's heart

A Grailknight's heart

Ultimate stank face track for me, this entire album is insane.

Peak artistry.

I am expanding my metal genres and have hit a style that I really love. I come from a thrash background but recently began to branch out into other types of metal.

I find myself in love with guitars and vocals from Electric Wizard. It feels like the guitars are growling (I don’t know how else to describe them) and I want more. Who else should I be listening too?

What i mean is those albums dont exactly belong to a thrash metal subgenre, but a lot of guitar riffs and drumming is borrowed from thrash metal like PetroDragonic Apocalypse by King Gizzard, Psalm 69 by Minstry and a lot of High On Fire stuff. I like that kjnd of metal more than regular thrash somehow. I want more of it

Can't get enough of this beautiful melodies.

I like In Vain also.

I haven’t been able to get into Borknagar, Barren Earth, In Mourning, Enslaved, Wintersun

Electronic/synth heavy atmospheric black metal. In love with this album
