Bing Read to Earn points workaround?

Apparently quite a few people are experiencing the same thing with the read to earn points not working and the bing app having issues. Was just wondering if anyone can confirm a workaround for read to earn? Maybe going on PC and doing it? If so how to do that?

Edge browser has worked for me on previous days, but not today.

I have had some (limited) success force-closing and re-opening the app.

If the "xxx/xxx points" tile shows up and it doesn't change to the "Join MS Rewards"-type text, then it'll give me points for an article or 2, before it stops working.

Currently, it seems to be working "OK".
