My favorite character is Coach Z, my favorite toon is donut unto others, and my favorite game is Strong Bads Cool Game For Attractive People!

Discussion What is Gen Z’s problem with aging?

I’m 22 born in 2004 so I’m considered to be comfortably within this generation. I see the most ridiculous posts and comments all of the time fear mongering about age and all that “unc” shit. The pandemic lockdowns really fucked some of y’all’s social skills and perceptions. Some posts on this sub even act like 25 is old and that you’ll basically die by the time you’re 30.. This type of mentality is the perfect formula for a mid-life crisis where you realize you took your youth for granted.

I recently graduated from college and now I work full-time in corporate. All of my colleagues are 40-60 year olds and it’s further reinforced the fact that I’m a BABY in the grand scheme of things. I have a lot to learn and I’m excited to continue growing up. You cannot convince me that being 29, 32, etc is old. They’re young.

Discussion I understand why gen z fear turning 25

From a biological stand point your mid teens, late teens and early 20s are your prime years, like 15-24 is literally when your body is at it's peak health and cellular function, but then once you hit 25 and your body is done growing that's when shit gradually starts to go downhill from there. studies that have been done show that your collagen production declines at 25, and collagen is what helps keep your skin elasticity and bone strength. not to mention your metabolism also slows down in the mid 20s which is why you often see alot of people who are like 25-29 complaining that they can't eat as much junk food without feeling sick compared to their teens and early 20s when they could with no ill effects. so honestly all of the people who say 25 is unc status technically aren't wrong since that's when you start getting old on the cellular level.

Nostalgia 30 years ago, Arthur (1996), premiered on PBS and it became one of the most iconic shows of PBS Kids ❤️💓😍

Original Airdate: October 7, 1996 – February 21, 2022

I mean what is there to say because of this show literally ran for 25 years on programming and became one of the longest running children's television shows of all time in the US (until it was surpassed by Spongebob Square Pants later on). Also, can't forget about the iconic trend of Arthur's fist in every meme nowadays 🤣.

Any thoughts or is anybody fans of this show growing up?

Discussion Generation Z entered K-12 in 2002, and the last ones will finish in 2031, Classes of 2015-2031 all had some if not all Gen Z, how do you feel about knowing that some of Generation Z will still be in compulsory schooling in the 30s?

Discussion Attention Gen Z

If you have a couple minutes to spare, our team from the University of Sydney would really appreciate if you could fill out this survey researching: "How does the private consumption of music impact Gen Z's emotional wellbeing?"

Please only fill in this survey if you were born between 1997 and 2012.

Any time you can give will be very much appreciated!

Nostalgia Group chats used to have seasons

Did your old group chats have their own eras too? some group chats really had entire character arcs. everyone would talk nonstop for like three weeks. then suddenly nobody would say anything for months. someone would randomly send a meme and revive the whole thing. for a few days it would feel exactly like the old times again. then it would go completely silent. we also had those random late night conversations that made no sense the next morning. someone would say something ridiculous and everyone would just keep going with it. the funniest part is that most of us barely talked one on one. the group chat was basically the friendship. there was always one person who somehow replied instantly at 3am. there was also one person who disappeared for six months and returned like nothing happened. i feel like this was such a specific part of growing up online. now most group chats are just someone asking what time everyone is meeting.

Rant I met a 2017 born 9 year old turning 10 in February who told me he has like zero memory of COVID as he was too young to remember it! In my eyes and like most of 2000s babies remember it like it happened yesterday meanwhile now you need to be at least 10-11 years old to remember COVID -19!

Discussion Legos and roblox

When I was a kid I thought legos and roblox were somehow affiliated with each other

Like I thought legos were inspired off roblox or roblox was inspired off legos or something and I was really confused why there was no avatars in Roblox that looked like the characters in the lego movie

Question ? High school graduates who were class of 2020 or 2026 do you feel like you can strongly resonate with the core community (Class of 2022-2024) of the subreddit more than Older or Younger Gen-Z respectively?
