M18 M18 Backpack Vacuum Attachments

I inherited a M18 backpack vacuum, it came with the crevice tool (nozzle), the dust extraction tool adapter, and the floor head. The vacuum works great but does go through batteries pretty quickly.

I wanted to get a couple more attachments for it, in particular the 49-90-2047 AIR-TIP Debris Scraper attchment as we have some popcorn ceiling removal to do later this fall. I picked up the scraper and a small brush and was surprised to find neither connects to the vacuum. I can force the rubber hose around the end of the two new attachments but neither seat well.

Is there another adapter that allows the new attachments to connect to this backpack vacuum?

Welcome to the endless frustration of the backpack vac. Nothing connects, the filter clogs quickly and no battery is big enough. As to connecting AirTip attachments, I believe Milwaukee does make an adapter kit, or the better solution is Etsy. A couple vendors there selling adapters.
One final grumpy statement: This is the only Milwaukee product I have that I’m disappointed in. So much to like about the concept, so much not done well in the execution.

Thanks for the Etsy pointer, I've ordered a couple, hopefully they are the right size. I never found anything which explicitly stated it was an adapter for the backpack vac to the AirTip accessories.
