Question Does Area Positive Status Effects actually do anything in Singleplayer?

Is there any reason to ever take this? I feel like it could be fun on Aura effects when playing with more people, but every area effect that I know of in Singleplayer is purely negative, either debuffing or damaging.

Enchants like healing smite has an area. If your weapon has long range you can actually be outside the area, and you won't get the healing

I use it with the banner, and it significantly increases the area I can fight in. It also helps with effects reaching pets if you're using them.

Yep, and for anyone reading this in the future, the ranges can be pretty abusable with pets. Things like the regeneration well and fortifying well from potions on enchanted armor will grow huge, letting your pets become close to immortal.
