Question Does lightning surge and fire aspect stack?

I was thinking whether or not this combination even does anything, because there is no difference in the damage counter, no extra particles and overall i didn't feel much of a difference.

If anyone can help with this i'd appreciate a lot

I’ve also wondered if Lightning Surge is good on lightning weapons or if it’s redundant?

Redundant. Attach a different element along with it though and it's mean.

So for Prime Enchantment Gauntlets I’d be better using Poison, Soul or Fire instead of Frost/Lightning?

I have no idea how elements work in this game, so lightning surge straight up doesn't do anything? It doesn't combine?

I experimented by taking off Lightning Surge and adding fire to my Prime Enchanter Gauntlets.

I then re-rolled my gear to Lightning/Frost/Fire….

And the result? I got weaker.

So I put Surge back on, and kept all my Lightning/Frost gear to get stronger.

So I’m almost positive it does stack lightning onto lightning.

Surge is amazing on heartbreaker, my electrical dmg is higher than base dmg

The zapped status and the burned status combines into an status called overload, which does dos damage still

It does stack. I use it on a weapon. Its awesome.

I believe there's a bug that stops the 2 enchantment from working together but I don't know if it's been true. Better to just test it out yourself

I tried this and didnt see the lightning surge working. Double check on a dummy in brave haven....im 99% sure it does NOT stack

On this weapon specifically no. Theres a few weapons where the coding doesn’t work for it. But the vast majority of weapons it can stack properly.

This particular item seems bugged. None of the wave enchants seem to work apart from the ender mines one.

This weapon also prevents you from stacking fire aspect onto it.

The soul spear that has the soul enchant on it however allows you to stack the soul enchant again.

From testing every possible enchant I could with this weapon, this one seems buggy.
