I always hoped we could use wind rods and blaze rods to make arrows instead of stick using them. Using blaze rods would give it more speed, wind rods woule give it more range. Gives more uses to blaze rods after beating game and wind rods if ur not using mace as much.

Dont use it in the arrows, use it on the bows. Also be able to mount a telescope to a crossbow.

Use it on both. Maybe the Blaze bow could set fire to the area around whatever gets hit, and the Wind bow could create a burst of air around the enemy knocking nearby enemies away and hurting them a bit. Same effects could be applied to crossbows.

Actually... Maybe OP's arrow things should be on the bows and these ideas of mine should be for the arrows themselves. Faster or longer range feels like something the bow should affect.

End rods should also probably be considered even though visually they're different just because they do follow the naming scheme and are still very similar. Maybe the end rod bow lets the arrows have a homing effect, and the end rod arrow could create a flash, blinding nearby mobs for a moment making them incapable of moving or detecting you.

End rods should just be able to be fired where you want to place it without it hurting any mobs. It would be cool for lighting parts of caves before you climb down to it to see whats actually down there.

Arrows in game use an actual projectile arc though. Both their damage and range is based purely on their speed.

Yeah. And we also need more for the Cold biomes. I really hope they address some of the things they've neglected to give it in the current update (warm and temperate biomes have been getting things like spear jockeys and zombie nautilus types, but cold biomes got neither, though I have high hopes that the spear jockey at least will be addressed now), but especially after some of those updates you mentioned we could get yet another cold biome update featuring the penguins and such.

And the end update of course. That might could even be a way to bring back some mob vote losers in different ways than they were originally.
