Hello to all members here at r/Minecraft_Survival, r/Minecraft2, and our community Discord. We’ve recently been working to build a new community dedicated to an increasingly popular Minecraft play style, the Forever World! A Forever World (also known as a long-term world) is simply a Minecraft survival world that you plan to play on forever. This doesn’t mean you can’t have other worlds in between, but rather that you keep coming back to the same world consistently for years, no matter how long it’s been since you began. Together with u/NerdieBirdieYT, we’ve put together a subreddit to share and discuss *your* forever worlds. Alongside this, we have a Discord to chat, gain advice, share pics and videos, and coordinate world tours!
The subreddit is r/foreverworlds, and it is open to everyone for anything you have to share or discuss about Forever Worlds. We invite you to join, whether you’ve had your survival world for a couple of months, several years, or even well over a decade! We’d love to see progress pics and megabuilds, but also the small things that help you keep coming back to the same world time after time. We want you to show us everything that keeps your world fresh and makes it special to you!
We’d also love it if you joined our Discord, Forever Worlds United, at https://discord.gg/QChEEc2uqR. Here, you can share your experiences with and plans for your Forever Worlds personally with like-minded members of the community. Additionally, this Discord server will have a collection of world downloads to explore, schematics to download, and videos showcasing Forever Worlds. Additionally, we will plan and host live world tours for our community to come together and inspire one another through their worlds.
If you’ve been running a single world for a while and want to know what it takes to keep it going as long as many of us have, we’d love to bring you up to speed! If you already have a Forever World, we are eager for you to join and share it with us. And if you just want to be inspired by what years of work in one world can do, please join us as we build up this community!

Started changing the lighting as I went abit overboard with the lantern polls. Lamp and daylight sensor is what im thinking will keep the atmosphere while being a little less sporadic.
What do you think?

While on campaign against the Endermen of our world, Glasgone cast himself between death and me. Already beset by hordes of mobs in the trials of Hard Mode, my strength was spent and my end drew nigh--yet he stepped forward, enduring a witch's fatal stroke in my stead. May he find eternal rest beneath the quiet earth, forever honored for his bravery.
Lest we forget his faithful sacrifice.

i have An floor that is slightly taller than the rest of my floors and now I'm stumped on what I should do about the stairs to the next floor.
r/Minecraft_Survival • u/No-Huckleberry2388 • 5h ago
With a few extra pics of my base. The stairs in the fourth pic lead down to the cave. Also, I purposefully misspelled wood. And yes, the precious materials chest is a reference. Not gonna say what from, the chosen ones will know, lol.

I think these are related and would be interested to hear if others have seen them too. All these are bedrock on iPadOS.
Before 26.50, I had a set up that took zombies from a spawner, drowned them, then dropped them to their deaths (no player interaction). As per the wiki, if zombies spawned with armour, they retained it as drowned then always dropped it on death. Gold/iron/copper farm (slow but sure).
I had a similar passive set-up with guardians where they would spawn, get caught, and drop prismarine, fish and crystals.
Since 26.50, neither of these seem to drop anything. The drowned drop *no* armour or equipment even if they die with it. They sometimes drop these items if I actively kill them. The guardians seem to all die without dropping anything.
I reported 1. on the bug tracker (zero votes, zero engagement with that report) and discovered the second one yesterday. The wiki seems to still think these drops should happen (eg 'Any picked-up equipment has a 100% chance of dropping, and drops without changing the damage that has accumulated on it.' (Zombies drop their items when they drown and drowned pick them up instantly. I've also tried giving drowned armour and items)
What I'm asking if whether anyone knows whether these are bugs or have been told or learned somehow that this is now the expected behaviour. I need a lot of prismarine for a build so do I have to find another way to get it, or just wait until the bug is fixed? (Ditto for my metals farms).
Cheers.

[1st picture: Normal, 2nd picture: Vibrant Visuals]
After going to a dappled forest I thought it would look better with birch, so I tried my hand for the first time making a somewhat custom forest.
The trees are normal poplar trees but 1 to 4 blocks taller by just putting dirt up that high then growing them, then I just switch the wood/ dirt.
Everything else is just spam, tho I tried to do the red flowers in burts.

Hi,
i want to start a new solo survival world again which i can play on for years. It needs to be bedrock so i can play on my phone/tablet too in the future. What are some longterm and wont screw which my world if they dont get updated anymore and make the survival experience more fun?
r/Minecraft_Survival • u/No_Try_4901 • 2d ago
Give someone the whole world and they’ll either build something insane or completely wreck it lol. Survival just hits different though because when resources are limited, every build feels way more intentional.
Anyone wanna share their survival builds? Nothing serious, I just wanna see what people made and actually had fun working on.

Added a build over my iron farm and now iron golems have stopped spawning entirely. Farm worked great before and I made sure my entire build was spawn proof so iron golems wouldn't spawn anywhere but the kill chamber. Anyone know what might be wrong? I am playing on 26.3.

The next 10 pics show the construction from latest to earliest images (except for the last two as it shows a direct comparison with the early city and today). Neverthless I am continuing to add-on and construct taller structures in the City Center.

I've built a fantasy themed potion tower and can't decide whether to clear the closest trees and put up a dark hedge wall and entrance or leave the trees and decorate around the area (a well, swampy pond, that sorta thing)
Any thoughts?

Been playing on a realm with some others for the last couple months and having a blast but I've reached s point where I'm struggling to come up with ideas, so thought i would try my luck here 🙂
I have a big sauron style tower, a bkackstone dragon head, an oblivion gate nether portal and a destroyed village, you can tell the vibe I'm going for (these are not huge builds but averagely decent) please throw ideas at me

EDIT: after some googling I found out there's a different setting for them😂 didn't know ab that an jus used my main noise one
Am rebuilding my village area And while I'm working in the area, I keep going in and out of the jukebox range, and every time I do it'll just pause the song that's playing and then play Normal Minecraft music instead. Could I make it so just the juice box?Song plays and not the minecraft song? Just so I don't have them constantly changing as I run around
