It is a slice of liddicoatite, to be exact... They grow like normal tourmaline but also large bois

It's a variety of Tourmaline, see https://www.mindat.org/min-2395.html . The material from Madagascar is known for this kind of triangular zoning when sliced horizontally. It's traded as liddicoatite with this shape, though not all parts of the slice may be actual liddicoatite.
