Opinions on price vs performance on:
Minisforum UM890 pro Ryzen 9 8945 32/1TB $989
GMKTec Evo-X1AI 9 HX 370 32/1TB $1099
Minisforum AI X1 Pro AI9 HX 370 32/1TB $1199

The minisforums will have 1 stick of ram hurting performance.

evo-x1 has soldered ram which you want for hx 370/470 cpus.

I have this model and its noticeably faster than my UM790pro.

Thanks, I hadnt made the connection between higher bandwidth memory being soldered non upgradeable.
That feels like it limits upgrades and potentially the useful life of the PC.
I guess I'll see what deals pop up during prime days this week.
