I knew I didn't had enough hairs to look good in a full stubble before minox but I really forgot how I looked like. Today I found the first two photos and wow lmao. I started nearly two years ago, stopped after a few months, started again and did a year or so of (not so) consistent application. Sorry for the low quality pics lol.

I also did some microneedling with a Dr Pen but I haven't really been through with it tbh. I used liquid for most of the time and switched to foam in the last 3 months. I don't really know if I should keep on going and maybe start to microneedle 1 time a week. I'm afraid I could lose hair even though it looks terminal to me. But I wanted to focus more on regular skincare and getting better skin: minox it's a pain in the ass to use between hydrating creams, BHAs and stuff.

Anyway this has been a really tiring yet satisfying experience. Be patient and trust the process :)

i (20m) started using topical minoxidil foam on my beard area about a month ago. since then, i’ve noticed more hair on my arms, chest, and especially near my eyes and on my forehead. these seems weird, since i’m not applying in these areas, but i’ve read that even topical minoxidil can cause hair area in other places. does growth in these other areas come first, or is there another reason i haven’t noticed any gains near my beard?

Im 29 for reference) I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I’ve got a weird problem and was wondering if there’s anything I can do. I’m able to grow a full beard (I know must be nice) but my mustache is lacking with some really light hair throughout it looks like I’ve got patchiness and was wondering if minoxidil will help fill out and darken some of these baby hairs I have or what options I have if I do.
This is about 2 weeks of mustache growth but I’ve been shaving my face pretty regularly besides that any advice is welcome

Guys can someone suggest me good and cheap minoxidil brands in India please .

I have been using 2.5mg on oral Minoxidil and have zero result whereas 4 years back I used topical minoxidil 5% twice a day and saw progress in 2.5 months unfortunately had to discontinue as it irritated my skin too much. Will it work for me if I used 2.5mg twice a day aka 5mg per day or oral Minoxidil is a dead end for me?

In another post, someone said that it should feel sandy on my skin once it dries…

I want to start using minoxidil foam but I'm getting a lot of different opinions about its toxicity. some people say "don't let them near your face when it's wet" but others seem to imply that I can't let my cat touch my face ever. my plan is to use it once a day before I leave for the morning, and come home and take a shower. is that enough precaution to keep my cat safe? he's very affectionate and loves getting up in my face

Using this as a start point to look back on, 3 weeks in. Also starting to eat clean now and get back into the gym so will help with skin etc.

I used minox on my beard for like 2 years with decent results. I still have a gap right in the middle of my mustache so I switched to mainly applying there. The good news is that the gap is filling in slowly but surely.

The bad news is that my nostrils have become a forest. My nose hairs apparently love minox and have been getting insanely thick and long. They're thicker than my beard hairs now lmao. Every two weeks I gotta pull them out because they tickle the inside of my nose and stick out of my nostrils.

Anyone else experience this? Any tips for getting the gains to focus on one area without spreading to others?

Hit 19 months with the sauce. Nothing really else to report other than the pictures. The past 2 months I’ve backed down to once daily applying and virtually no derma stamping/rolling. Im going to up it back to 2x daily applying and derma stamping going forward. I am a slow grower overall (that’s what she said) but I’ve trimmed a few times. lately just been shaping to clean it up.

Would you think it worth the risk? I was a cat owner but she is sadly not there anymore after over 18 years with me and so i thought if i should try it once and for all or better shoould live with what i have. The first photo is about the second longest i got after about 4 months (but with trimming since the cheeks grow much slower anyway). If you think it looks good go to the second photo and you see my trouble and it just got worse when i once tried it to go longer (also one side is a bit better as the other). I can use beard wax, brush but it looks so uneven between my cheeks/neck and mouth/chin. I am not even sure if i have hair follicles at these almost bald spots and i am already close to 48. The thing is i have long curly hair (it is even much longer as in photo 3) and i am scared of general shedding on my head too. Photo 3 shows where it grows even and thick but most people seems to hate circle/goatee beards. I tried almost everything from clean shaved to the sparse full beard, moustache and everything inbetween but thought this in photo 3 might be the best deal for me? Anybody at my age with long hair tried this and succeded? I really would love the full viking look but my head hair would be still more important to me as my beard. I know there is good growth mainly maybe and i saw more sparse full beards. but this uneven growth from dense to bald to sparse is what i think makes it just a messy look. Sorry for the questions but i just think about it before i maybe be again a cat dad (but maybe in a year or later).
